nick in* england Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Here are the playoff scenarios for Week 14. AFC EAST NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS New England can clinch division title with: 1) NE win + NYJ loss New England can clinch playoff spot with: 1) NE win or tie OR 2) BAL loss or tie OR 3) DEN loss or tie OR 4) PIT win or tie NEW YORK JETS New York Jets can clinch playoff spot with: 1) NYJ win + BUF loss or tie + DEN loss + SD win or tie OR 2) NYJ win + BUF loss or tie + DEN loss + BAL win or tie AFC NORTH PITTSBURGH STEELERS Pittsburgh can clinch division title with: 1) PIT win or tie OR 2) BAL loss or tie Pittsburgh can clinch playoff spot with: 1) DEN loss or tie AFC SOUTH INDIANAPOLIS COLTS Indianapolis can clinch division with: 1) IND win OR 2) IND tie + JAC loss or tie NFC EAST PHILADELPHIA EAGLES Philadelphia has clinched NFC East title. Philadelphia can clinch first-round bye with: 1) PHI win or tie OR 2) GB loss or tie OR 3) ATL win or tie NFC SOUTH ATLANTA FALCONS Atlanta can clinch division title with: 1) ATL win or tie OR 2) TB loss or tie + CAR loss or tie Cleveland, Miami and San Francisco have officially been eliminated from playoff contention. What better time to play Cleveland?? Officially eliminated. Nothing to play for other than a drfat choice. Looks like NE lock up the Division this weekend. Pitt are looking to do the same against the Jets, so my prediction for the weekend goes like this: NE named AFC-E Champs Pitt named AFC-N Champs Indy named AFC-S Champs Philly gets first round bye Atl wins NFC-S Jets stay in the hunt for first wildcard - but truth be told they'll be starting a slump where they finish 0-4 and get eliminated.

Thurman's Helmet Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Jets wont go 0-4. You guys are playing for a 6 seed so you should focus all your negative energy on Baltimore, Cincy, Jacksonville and Denver.
