durangobill Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 whats everyones take on the hits and the fines trying to take the big hits out of the game, these guys know that theres a chance to get hurt shouldnt it be up to the players to make this rule?
Zulu Cthulhu Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 The rules haven't changed at all. Crowning and spearing have been illegal for a while now. The only things that are changing are the possible penalties for breaking those rules.
BuffaloATL Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I'm all for the NFL suspending players for hard hits. I mean, the Bills don't have anyone that hits hard, so it won't impact us, but many of our opponents have good players that are feared and hit hard. Gives us a better chance to win! Plus, I don't want anyone injuring Spiller!!

Meathead Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 these guys know that theres a chance to get hurt shouldnt it be up to the players to make this rule? yeah for real. these guys know theres a risk, it should be up to them in fact, they should have this game played in a big round arena, and this steal ball comes flying out around the perimeter and the players all try to get it and put it in a hole. you could have some guys on roller blades, and other guys riding motorcycles. they would wear armor that has like spikes and bludgeons in them. and then during penalty time they would release guys with chainsaws for two minutes that would be so awesome
