Beerball
An alcohol-laced energy drink equivalent to at least three beers, a can of Red Bull and a shot of espresso I know I'm old, but does anyone think this is a good idea?

DrDawkinstein
hahaha, cant believe there is actually a 4Loko thread on TDB... my friends and I drink that crap sometimes. It does get you wasted, but so does any other alcoholic beverage. It's no different than drinking Red Bull & Vodkas, other than its cheaper since it's carried in mostly ghetto gas stations. 2 of them put you in a real good place though. It's not the drink that's hurting people, it's the alcohol and irresponsibility. Wow, college students are getting alcohol poisoning?!? This has never happened before!!! How typical of the school to blame it all on one specific drink, instead of trying to fix the real problem. Fan in San Diego
The local news did a story on this drink. College students here call it 'Blackout in a can' they also recommended not to drink it.
DrDawkinstein
These news stories make me want to go pick up a can at the gas station on my corner tonight. Cranberry Lemonade is calling my name!!
Fingon
Drinking a couple right now. It offers more of a lucid drunk, as the caffeine definitely helps create a more cerebral buzz, which helps counteract any drowsiness induced from the alcohol. boyst
Man, in the old days we just drank beers and snorted coke! A few notes: I read the title of this thread in a mexican accent for some reason. This post quoted above made me think of a song called "my moonshine kicks your coccaines arse." Also, this is just another way alcohol companies are making it easier for the inexperienced drinker become more accustomed to alcohol. It is rather stupid, in my day people gained the appreciation of taste through Natty. Luckily, I was a late bloomer and waited until I was 21. This saved me having to sample the cheap beers most underage kids get!
