stony Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Joe, you're not crazy you're !@#$ing nutz! Ravens coming off a loss to New England and playing Buffalo @ home. Buffalo does not have the talent to compete with the physical play of the Ravens. You ever hear of Ray Rice? Watch this kid run and catch the ball. Ravens 43 Buffalo 13 No offense, but what has Ray Rice done this year? I'm more worried about our 'vaunted' secondary getting torched by Boldin and Co. If there ever was a week the Bills could steal one from a far superior opponent, this is the week. It's all up to the coaching staff. They've had two weeks/two game-tapes to find tendencies and weaknesses to exploit. It would be so much easier if they didn't have to correct so much on our side, but it should be sufficient enough to actually do something to catch Baltimore off balance.

I have no reason to believe this but some reason, I believe the game will be closer than people expect. We're coming off a bye and Flacco isn't some superstar. Plus, the Ravens have a suspect secondary so there will be yards there. We will lose but it may be close.

I've been burned thinking this to many times...would like to think this...but can't.

This is the 2010 Buffalo Bills, remember? Chan Gailey will probably be escorted out of town by the fans after the Ravens get done with us. The Ravens are a far superior team to the Buffalo Bills. From what we've seen from our team this year how can you have any faith in them at all. The Ravens are a top 5 NFL team and the Bills are ranked 32nd in the NFL this year. Hell, the Rams could beat us! I have no reason to believe this but some reason, I believe the game will be closer than people expect. We're coming off a bye and Flacco isn't some superstar. Ed Reed coming back this week? Edited October 19, 2010 by Frez

There are a ton of stats that favor teams coming off bye weeks.

I feel I know my Buffalo Bills facing a superior team in the Ravens. This years Buffalo team is weak in every single phase of the game. A bettor? I'm 5-1 in my fantasy football league and just won an eliminator football pool with 30 people in it. I do some side bets but not on a week to week basis. I'm taking the Ravens over the Bills this week in the new start of the eliminator pool.

The Raven have a ton of talent but they haven't been exactly killing the competition. They struggled to beat the Browns. This isn't the '85 Bears here.

Honestly, what makes you think the Bills have a chance to win or even cover this game? Do you see something in the Bills run defense nobody else has this year? Maybe they come alive this week and maybe activate Mcargo or something? You think the Bills offensive line can give Fitz time to throw this week vs the Ravens? I just don't see it brother. It looks like a huge mismatch to me.
wonderbread Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Baltimore will win by 17 at least. NFW does Buffalo score more than 2 Td's on O.
BobDVA Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 We can't afford to win! Carolina is going back to Moore at QB, they're only going to get 2 wins maximum this season and we need the #1 draft pick. Go Ravens We will do just fine with the number two draft pick. I will not root against my favorite team so you can get your wish for the number one draft pick. Fail........

Go Ravens Assuming you mean we should draft a QB with the #1 pick, Carolina drafted Clausen last year. I don't think we have to worry about them taking a QB if we end up with the #2 pick behind them.
