BuffaloBaumer Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Seneca Nation - Could this be a possibility? Could the funds be there? Could this be a stepping stone to a stadium downtown? To be continued..........
K Gun Special Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Seneca Nation - Could this be a possibility? Could the funds be there? Could this be a stepping stone to a stadium downtown? To be continued.......... is crack bad for you?
McBeane Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Seneca Nation - Could this be a possibility? Could the funds be there? Could this be a stepping stone to a stadium downtown? To be continued.......... How did you manage to come up with this idea? Puff Daddy is about 1000x more likely to become an owner over the entire Seneca Nation...
Chandemonium Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 (edited) is crack bad for you? Are you insinuating that the OP is on crack, or implying that the answer to all of these questions is yes, thereby agreeing with him? Edited October 18, 2010 by Chandemonium
K Gun Special Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Are you insinuating that the OP in on crack, or implying that the answer to all of these questions is yes, thereby agreeing with him? Ahhh, at least someone picked up on that......
BuffaloBaumer Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 And why exactly is this so crazy? Are you doubting the funds?
McBeane Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 And why exactly is this so crazy? Are you doubting the funds? Would they want to own an NFL team? Do you think its a good idea to have the Seneca Nation running the Bills? The chances of this happening have to be less than .001%
BuffaloBaumer Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 Was it something I would have guessed in a million years? No, but like I said, to be continued.....
McBeane Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Was it something I would have guessed in a million years? No, but like I said, to be continued..... Apparently you did guess it...
Punch Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Was it something I would have guessed in a million years? No, but like I said, to be continued..... Oh brother... Do we need to wait until Ralph passes on to learn if you're cryptic comments will come to fruition? Or can you just debunk it now and never mention it again?
Captain Caveman Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 And why exactly is this so crazy? Are you doubting the funds? First is the rule that ownership groups must contain twenty-four or fewer individuals, with I believe the lowest percentage owned by any 1 person being 10%.
K Gun Special Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 not to mention the NFL would be hesitant to approve ownership where its money comes from gambling. like i said crack...........
Zulu Cthulhu Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Senecas aren't allowed to own the team as captain stated above. Green bay is the only team allowed to be corporately owned due to their grandfather clause with the league.
BidsJr Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 First is the rule that ownership groups must contain twenty-four or fewer individuals, with I believe the lowest percentage owned by any 1 person being 10%. So if 24 individuals were part of the group and the lowest percentage per individual is 10%, how does that Obamanomics work out?
leh-nerd skin-erd Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Seneca Nation - Could this be a possibility? Could the funds be there? Could this be a stepping stone to a stadium downtown? To be continued.......... you know, they could probably pick this year's bill's team up for a couple blankets and a box full o' beads. the ultimate irony? build the stadium on grand island.
prissythecat Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 And why exactly is this so crazy? Are you doubting the funds? Even assuming that a corporation could buy an NFL team (it can't), have you looked at the Seneca financial statements? Are they capable of putting up the billion dollars that you would need to buy a team?
Punch Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 So if 24 individuals were part of the group and the lowest percentage per individual is 10%, how does that Obamanomics work out? What does it have to with Obama? It sounds more like "fuzzy math".
Chandemonium Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 So if 24 individuals were part of the group and the lowest percentage per individual is 10%, how does that Obamanomics work out? I was going to pose this same question, but after thinking about it concluded that he meant the largest shareholder must own at least 10%. That's the only way it makes sense to me at least. correct me if i'm wrong Caveman
BidsJr Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 What does it have to with Obama? It sounds more like "fuzzy math". LOL looks like you just figured it out.
