KD in CA Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) Watching Ravens/Pats*. Looks like we yet another dirty scumbag on the New England defense. Meriweather* headhunted Todd Heap twice; first time he missed, second time he knocked him out of the game (edit: Heap is back in now). Why is it every time I flip on the Pats* game there's a challenge review? It seems their games always have the most questionable officiating of the day. 3 first half challenges (2-NE, 1-B), all correctly reversed. Edited October 17, 2010 by KD in CT
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) Lynch's last two carries have been for no gain... ah, the memories! Followed by a catch for -1 yard! Edited October 17, 2010 by RJ (not THAT RJ)
Buftex Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Any team that kicks the ball to Devin Hester, deserves to lose...89 yard return...pure speed! GO BEARS! Houston takes the lead in the final seconds, Hester gets the Bears back in the game, Pack ties it up to send it to OT, Pats/Ravens knotted up...Bills don't lose....good day for football!
KD in CA Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Touchdown Lynch Did that help or hurt is 2.6 YPC line for today?

I think Earl Bennet just killed Jon Ryan.
Mr_Blizzard Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 17 carries, 44 yards; 1 TD. 3 receptions for 9 yards.

PromoTheRobot Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Did you hear the comment that the interest in the trade was one-way and the Seahawks were the ones that kept calling Nix? And yet some homers persist that Nix was actively shopping Lynch. Right. The teams that wanted Lynch called Nix. What's the point of calling every NFL team, as if you are going to talk someone into needing a RB? Also what makes some flip comment by a TV announcer the gospel on anything? PTR
papazoid Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 2.6 yards/carry is nothing special....(17 carries / 44 yards)
Phlegm Alley Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 It is Lynch's 2nd week with his new team...were you guys expecting him to tear it up against one of the better rush defenses in the league on the road?
Wilson from Gamehendge Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) exactly. damaged goods. otherwise he is probably a top ten back. Those damaged goods are STILL better than whoever our starting RB is! Damaged goods! HAHA...What an idiotic statement! DAMAGED GOODS? LOL! Damage or no damage...he WILL BE a TOP-10 RB again...VERY shortly! 17 carries, 44 yards; 1 TD. 3 receptions for 9 yards. Still better stats than both of our tippy toe dancing RB's! Rayzer32 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 2.6 yards/carry is nothing special....(17 carries / 44 yards) Actually pretty crappy compared to his teammate. Forset 10 carries, 67 yards, 6.7 ypc avg and 1 TD. I was a Lynch fan, but if this keeps up I won't miss him.
KD in CA Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 It is Lynch's 2nd week with his new team...were you guys expecting him to tear it up against one of the better rush defenses in the league on the road? No, we're just expecting the people who are hell bent on giving a Lynch update every five minutes to STFU about the trade as long as he's averaging 2.6 yards per carry. He was a mediocre RB in Buffalo and he'll be a mediocre RB in Seattle.
C.Biscuit97 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Those damaged goods are STILL better than whoever our starting RB is! Damaged goods! HAHA...What an idiotic statement! DAMAGED GOODS? LOL! Damage or no damage...he WILL BE a TOP-10 RB again...VERY shortly! Still better stats than both of our tippy toe dancing RB's! Jackson averages 5 ypc. Better check your facts before you spout off. And I liked Lynch but he caused this whole situation by acting like an idiot. Teams aren't going to offer much for a running back who is one strike from a year or long suspension.
Coach Klein Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Those damaged goods are STILL better than whoever our starting RB is! Damaged goods! HAHA...What an idiotic statement! DAMAGED GOODS? LOL! Damage or no damage...he WILL BE a TOP-10 RB again...VERY shortly! Still better stats than both of our tippy toe dancing RB's! Better than Freddy huh? 2.6 YPC is better than Fredy's 6.1 YPC (12 carries 73 yards) last week? hmmm... and since it's only one game lets look at last year... Fred: 237 carries 1062 yards for 4.5 YPC Marshawn: 120 carries 450 yards for 3.8 YPC And for their careers... Fred: 457 carries 2093 yards for 4.6 YPC Marshawn: 687 carries 2765 yards for 4.0 YPC
T master Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Curious to see how he looks just a few weeks removed. But I'll be flipping back to the Ravens/Pats* game I imagine quite a bit. At least he's still consistent in his average per carry 2.4 YPC ( F.J. 6 YPC) -- but M.L gets to know that winning feeling !!!
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Those damaged goods are STILL better than whoever our starting RB is! Damaged goods! HAHA...What an idiotic statement! DAMAGED GOODS? LOL! Damage or no damage...he WILL BE a TOP-10 RB again...VERY shortly! Still better stats than both of our tippy toe dancing RB's! This post is wrong in so many ways, including the fact that you're calling Jackson and Spiller "tippy toe dancing RB's" and not Lynch? If there ever were a RB who danced more than he ran, his name was Marshawn Lynch. But who cares? Lynch seems like a nice guy; hope he does well in Seattle; but he's not here anymore.
Big Turk Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 sounds about right...Lynch averaged 2.6 YPC and the other RB, Forsett, a bottom of the 7th round RB, averaged 6.7, while gaining 23 more yards on 7 fewer carries...
