Dante Posted October 17, 2010 Share Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) Watched the Sharks/Thrashers game and Atlanta don't resemble the patsies they were last season in the least. What a great move not signing the one dimensional Ilya. I assume since they didn't give him what he wanted the Thrashers were able to afford picking up guys like Ladd, Dustin Byfuglien, Sopel. Devils 1-4-1 and the Thrashers 3-2 with back to back wins on the road vs tough teams. But its not just the record, they looked really good last night vs my Sharks. Really impressed with their work ethic and how they came from behind and didn't collapse in the 3rd period. Would be really easy to do on the back end of the 2nd game in as many nights. I don't know much about Rammer as a coach. He was as solid as they come as a Sabre back in the day. I'd be willing to bet he is going to be or already is as good a coach as he was a player.
