Big Turk
Fitz has a 99.9 QB rating with 7 TDs and 2 INTs, and is completing 61.2% of his passes. He isn't turning into a stud QB or anything, but he is competent enough that the Bills are scoring points, moving the ball and scored enough points in 2 out of his 3 games to win. Not the answer long term, but also not the reason the Bills are 0-3 in his 3 starts either...

To bad he is a retarded fish frog. Edited October 12, 2010 by b stein

He eventually goes ice cold and gets inaccurate, which is why he's not a starting QB. But if you have a good team and your franchise QB goes down for a few games, he can step in and win. Ray
Fitzpatrick should be at least 2-1 right now. He has played well and the kind of guy if you had a Defense he is a suitable QB

The Big Cat
Yeah still and for good reason Fitz belongs in the NFL contrary to what you believe. Yeah? You've got me on record saying he doesn't? My mistake, you have better grasp on my beliefs than I do.

He has played well and the kind of guy if you had a Defense he is a suitable QB Yeah he should have won that Patriots game, even though he threw those two bad INT's that eventually cost the Bills the game.......not to mention yeah the Bills scored 30 points but one of those tds was on Special Teams so realistically he only led the Bills to 24 points and not the 30 that you seem to be under the impression he did. Another Point of View
Too Bad its 99.9, if he had 100 I wouldn't draft a new Quarterback
Hapless Bills Fan
One thing they have right is the backup QB. Fitzpatrick is that. He eventually goes ice cold and gets inaccurate Of course, getting sacked, knocked down, and hurried would have no bearing on a QB's arm accuracy throughout the game
BillsFan-4-Ever
what do you call the two lame ducks that fell from Fitz's hands and the backwaeds skip toss to Parish? FITZ isn't the man. Put in Brohm. For all the Trent arguments where he sucked worse that Fitz - he had more good QBR's then not.
silvermike
Fitz isn't anything like a long term solution, but he's probably giving us the best QB play we can ask for between now and September. Brohm hasn't shown anything more than scraps, Levi Brown is barely a professional player, and anyone else is currently out of the league. So we've got a replacement-level QB and we can see what we have around him this year. Next year, we can argue about the merits of Fitz vs. the Jason Campbells and Matt Moores of the league, but in no way should his presences dissuade us from Andrew Luck or any other major draft prospect. JPS
Maybe the reason Fitz is doing well is he knows that he is 2 series away from grabbing the clipboard from Brohm. Gailey said as much. I guarantee you see Brohm during the next 2 games, which WILL be brutal. At Baltimore and at KC. That being said, I don't care if either of them are Joe Willie, the Bills are going to lose by a lot with that defense. In fact, I'm going to start calling it "efense". The Big Cat
Yup that still. NEWS FLASH - The line still sucks. Yep. It sucks so bad that Fitz has a QB rating of 100, and Freddy's averaging 5 yards a carry. Yep, our OLine is the putrid OLine to end all a putrid OLines.
