gjv001 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Besides Kyle williams and Marcus Stroud is there any body else playing in the front seven worth starting. We might as well replace them all with DB's. It seems that the DB's are currently making all the tackles, 10 to 20 yards down field , now. We can't do worse, and who knows, 9 DB's might do better.
Dr. Fong Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I've never been a fan of the 3-4 defense, but to make matters worse for the Bills they've had years of a defensive philosophy that values mobility over size in its players to a ludicrous degree. That is the perfect recipe for a disastrous switch to a 3-4, the results of which we are seeing now. I was hoping against hope that I was being too pessimistic about this switch, but I guess not. The Bills are 5-6 players and several years away from having an adequate defense.
