ET1062 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Now I truly know the phrase “the ugly American”. Do us all a favor and go watch the CFL.
The_Philster Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I always have a garbage bag to put trash in @ the games....so........stop generalizing. And guess what? We even throw the trash bag in the dumpster. Most of my crew does the same...trying to get the rest to do it. But even before we had more dumpsters around, we always bagged up our trash My nieces would have loved to see the cheerleaders but I would never expose them to the fans yelling down to the Jills “dance for me whores”. Also, half the stadium cheering for the girl fight that started up in the stands those are usually guys that asked one out but got turned down...the girls generally have boyfriends who can handle their alcohol...or are simply smart enough not to get trashed at every opportunity
Just Jack Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Part of the regulationas on the Bills webpage regarding parking is that everyone is expected to bag their tailgate garbage and place it in the dumpsters (I'm on the road and can't look up the exact wording right now). Now, with that being said, they could provide bags when you enter the lot to those who want them. Here's what's on the Bills webpage Stadium Management asks that you clean up your area before entering the stadium to watch the game so it’s safe for you and others. Bring trash bags with you to dispose of your trash. Neatly tied trash bags can be left at your tailgate area or be taken to one of the green dumpsters located in the parking lot areas. Please refrain from leaving loose trash and litter in the parking lots This is where we learn for sure that you're making things up/exaggerating things. Everyone who has been to a Bills game knows that the Nacho Cheese receptacle is WAY too small to cover someone. Maybe someone really likes nachos and have bought several orders.
....lybob Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Bills tailgaters should recycle, but we will need one more than normal, one bin for plastic, one bin for glass, one bin for cans, one bin for paper bag masks, and an extra bin for tears.
EasternOHBillsFan Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 (edited) Oh, go take your Nanny State, save-the Whales mentality along with Michael Moore and move to China, Cuba, or socialist France already, will ya? Might be a smart move, considering we might get the give away our money to the corporations, invade our privacy regime of the Dixiecrat Tea Party right soon enough. Dr. Trooth Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 This only happens when the Bills suck and the season ticket holders put their tickets out for sale and end up getting five bucks apiece. What do you expect, the less than fortunate, and a bunch of lazy unemployed slobs can now afford to go to a game, crash a tailgate or two, three, four, and get bombed for free. And they say this country is going to hell.

Coby Fan Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 And whats up with the shopping carts that those guys use to collect the empty bottles with? Do they buy them or are they donated by the grocery stores?
Offside Number 76 Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 And whats up with the shopping carts that those guys use to collect the empty bottles with? Do they buy them or are they donated by the grocery stores? Doesn't matter; apparently, they are able to fit a hundred dollars' worth of bottles (that's 2000 bottles!) into each. Or at least according to the philanthropists here.
stevestojan Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 I actually take my weekly garbage to the stadium to dump on the ground there.
BillsFanInLV Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 (edited) Whether or not people are hired to clean up the trash in the lot, everyone should throw trash in or near the trash cans. ----If you are civil and mature, thats what you 'should' do. Is it that difficult? If you love your country take some pride in it or defend it. I do both. Edited October 12, 2010 by BillsFanInLV
Stussy109 Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 For Christ sake clean up after yourself! You must have left thousands of dollars of beer cans in the parking lots and enough paper trash to fill the stadium. Guy's got a point...
BringBackFergy Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Bills tailgaters should recycle, but we will need one more than normal, one bin for plastic, one bin for glass, one bin for cans, one bin for paper bag masks, and an extra bin for tears. Maybe we should take it a step further in your "Progressive" direction: In order to properly assess where the Recycle bins should be located, we should ask the Erie County Legislature to appoint a Stadium Oversight Board to hire a engineering crew to decide upon bin placement. They can hold hearings over the course of a 20 year span (in between the environmental assessment hearings for the Waterfront Commission and Peace Bridge meetings) and can enlist the services of a marketing group to come up with a catchy slogan and Bills' personality poster boy (something like "Cans and Bottles Stay in the Bin or You'll Answer to Maybin"). Of course, after a few years of squabbling over where the bins should be located, the NYCLU would file suit for an injuction against placement of recycling bins because it would offend the nice folks that go around picking up bottles and cans for extra cash. This would cost the County $90,000 to defend....which, ironically, is twice the amount paid to the nice folks who keep the stadium and parking lot clean after games.
plenzmd1 Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 I actually take my weekly garbage to the stadium to dump on the ground there. to wahteverdude!!!
mead107 Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 The only thing we put on the ground is cans and bottles. We put the garabage in a bag and take it with us. Some times it is so windy that some paper stuff blows away.
RuntheDamnBall Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 You pay $25 to park in the stadium lot, and part of what you are paying for is the right to be messy and act like a cave man. ...Sometimes I just crush the cans, though, because I don't care that much. Well, mission accomplished. Mom must be proud. I don't know, I thought I came to the games to watch football, enjoy the company of friends, and have a few beers and some homemade food with people you know and some nice people you've never met. I wish I had known that the true joys of the festivities are coming to hang out with a--holes who can't control themselves and believe they're paying for the privilege to act like toddlers, getting puked on, and stepping in the garbage of people who don't have enough pride to keep their trash within a reasonable radius. I might have saved my money a few times, considering the football product reeks like so much waste. We're lucky not everyone is like you. Bills tailgaters should recycle, but we will need one more than normal, one bin for plastic, one bin for glass, one bin for cans, one bin for paper bag masks, and an extra bin for tears.
SuperKillerRobots Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Just fill your shopping cart and leave us alone...
BillsfaninFl Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 For Christ sake clean up after yourself! You must have left thousands of dollars of beer cans in the parking lots and enough paper trash to fill the stadium. Sometimes we tailgate in Orlando, Florida for Bills games. We always pick up after ourselves, but now that I know it bugs you, we'll leave everything where it hits the ground. Those poor alligators will have to live among the trash.
aussiew Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 I wonder how they clean up all that ketchup and mustard in Lot 1?
Thoner7 Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 I don't agree with the OP, but what the hell are you rambling about? I don't know what a "Nanny State" is, but you sound like your typical angry, ill-informed, Fox News-watching redneck. Keep your politics to the appropriate forums. I really dont get teh whole Fox News outcry. I watch MSN, CNN, and Fox with a fairly open mind. Yea they all push their own agenda, but if I had to pick the network with the least spin and biased reporting it would be Fox news by far. CNN, and esecially MSNBC, are way worse. I really hate when people bash something when what they support is just as if not more guilty of the same crime. PS: With $25 dollar parking Ill leave my trash anywhere I please.
