whateverdude Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 For Christ sake clean up after yourself! You must have left thousands of dollars of beer cans in the parking lots and enough paper trash to fill the stadium.
ricojes Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 For Christ sake clean up after yourself! You must have left thousands of dollars of beer cans in the parking lots and enough paper trash to fill the stadium. Just fill your shopping cart and leave us alone...
whateverdude Posted October 10, 2010 Author Posted October 10, 2010 Just fill your shopping cart and leave us alone... No thanks most of the cans and bottles have piss in them!
mrags Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 FWIW, the Bills organization provide jobs to people to clean up the lots. So I say throw away more crap and support underprivaledged people working. And that goes the same for all the beer cans and bottles. There are countless homeless people or families that count on those returns for cash. I say dump all your crap and help out the homeless!

Helping out the homeless is the last thing on tailgaters mind most of the cans are crushed and bottles smashed making them nonreturnable. If you want to help out the homeless work in a soup kitchen and if you want to pay Cadillac entitlement to the "underprivileged" well you're living in the right state. CodeMonkey Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 For Christ sake clean up after yourself! You must have left thousands of dollars of beer cans in the parking lots and enough paper trash to fill the stadium. Roger, !@#$ you and the horse you rode to the Ralph on.
JDHILL Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 what's your problem? Is this your first game? And yes some of us do leave our bottles for certain people that clean the lots. I don't park on RWS property but park in a nearby lot. We always pile our bottles up and leave them for the guy we call the "warrior". We usually feed him too. I don't know if this qualifies as helping the homeless but it is definitely realizing that not everybody is in the same situation and trying to treat people with respect.
GR8PRKN Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 That is part of the Cleaning contract with the Bills... KNIGHT FM has the contract and they made money on it today in the lots as they were empty so quit crying... It does provide some jobs to the area to...
Flutie Flakes Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Roger, !@#$ you and the horse you rode to the Ralph on. Spot on! Not a good time to scold fans for their tailgating habits.....dude.

Just so you know, you can return cans that are crushed. Just not in the machines.
TheChimp Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 In New Mexico where I'm stuck they dont even HAVE deposits on cans and bottles yet! !@#$ing dark ages here. Hell, I have a job but I bet I'd make more on any Sunday night grabbing all those !@#$ing cans than I do in 8 hours at my regular job. !@#$ing GOLD MINE that place must be!!! Lucky !@#$ing homelesss people!

Leonidas II Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Oh, go take your Nanny State, save-the Whales mentality along with Michael Moore and move to China, Cuba, or socialist France already, will ya? I don't agree with the OP, but what the hell are you rambling about? I don't know what a "Nanny State" is, but you sound like your typical angry, ill-informed, Fox News-watching redneck. Keep your politics to the appropriate forums.
Just Jack Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Hell, I have a job but I bet I'd make more on any Sunday night grabbing all those !@#$ing cans than I do in 8 hours at my regular job. Back in the mid 80's when NY first started doing returns, I'd head down to the state park by my parents house early in the morning before the park crew would clean out the garbage cans and pick cans/bottles. Usually made about $15 each day on the weekends, which was a lot of money for a couple hours work to this teenager.
GOBILLS78 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I'm sure it's no worse than the trash on the field.
The Tomcat Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Whenever I go past the stadium a few hours after the games it looks like a hell hole of trash. Its embarrassing really. I always think of the commercial in the 70's when the Indian has a tear coming down his face from all the trash on the side of the road. I'm not against leaving your cans and bottles but it really is sad.
