box0life Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 My honest opinion is that if Luck is available you take him. If not, you trade down for more picks. I don't want Mallet or Pender. They are too inconsistent. We need DL and OT first and foremost. If you can't stop the run or stop a pass rush what good is a QB.
rpcolosi Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 The 2011 draft will be stacked with QB's. Seeing the all the holes on Defense, would you folks consider taking the best DE or NT #1 / #2 overall then grabbing the future QB of the franchise late in round 1 or at the start of round 2? O Lines and D Lines are the foundation to build eventual championships. DE, NT or LB... the best of the best, immediate impact. Fitz, and I hate, hate, hate to admit this, is serviceable and we could get Pryor or someone like thati n the 2nd round. whatever QB we draft needs to sit for a year or two anyways to learn the system and the league.
I hate the Bills ! Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 We need a QB, WR, DE, LT, RT, MLB, OLB,
Flutie Flakes Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 (edited) 1. Luck (or if not available, trade down for more picks and pick up QB later in round) 2. Best OT/DE available 3. Best OT/DE/LB available 4. Best LB/C/WR available Edited October 11, 2010 by Flutie Flakes
dave mcbride Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Is there really even an argument? If a QB is a blue chipper (as a couple of these guys appear to be), of course you take the QB.
bills1960 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 You've got to go with a QB. Having Luck declare would be the best option, but if he doesn't you still have to take Mallet or Locker, even if it's a reach. We need a QB, some one to lead this team because we are simply a mess.
jocap55 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 watching luck and mallet i think mallet is the better pick - mallet has better ball handling skills, his play fakes are really good and he does a better job of looking off defenders. his arm is money. i like a couple of things about luck but he locks in on his receivers and that won't work in the nfl.
Conch Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 If Bruce Smith and Jim Kelly were sitting there I'd take Bruce or maybe I'd take Jim. If Smith and Elway are there, you would have to take Elway. Then he'd refuse to play for the Bills and you trade him.
