Wacka
Watched the Charlie Brown Special last night for the first time in 25-30 years! They must have used restored prints because the show is 39 years old (!) and the colors were nice and bright. Love the part where they are all dancing around to the music-the quinticential Peanuts music. A Christmas Story is the best movie. The narrator is Jean Shepard, the screenwriter of the movie, and Ralphie is him. Saw two other made for TV shows from stories of his on PBS years ago. They were when Ralphie was a teenager. He narrated both of those too. They involved their yearly summer vacation to a campground and him dating a girl whose brothers were all Notre Dame football players and how he would break up with her without having her brothers kill him.
