dollars 2 donuts Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 (edited) Last year T.O. had 55 grabs for 800+ yards on a Bills team that was horrible, with QBs being even worse. I have no problem with him leaving and it was best for both he and the team that he did move on. ...and my problem wasn't even with any members of this board who wanted him gone. My problem was with those in the national (and local) media that said he was washed up. Again, I actually thought he played well and produced a decent amount on a team that was as bad as the Bills were, statistically. I told a friend of mine in Cincy that Owen's wasn't washed up and probably was going to be good for 70 grabs and 900+ yards. Well, currently (and I know he had a big game over the weekend that skews it) he has 24 grabs for 374 yards, 1 TD and is tied for 11th in number of receptions and 5th in yards. The Bengals top 2 receivers have 47 grabs between them. Sorry that it is not Bills related. Just an FYI. Edited October 6, 2010 by dollars 2 donuts

It appears to me at this point that Nix and Coach Gailey are playing for next years draft and have been all along. I wish we still had a coach that wanted to "play like hell and win."
