Ghost of Rob Johnson
Apparently the Colts have inquired about both Marcus Stroud and Kyle Williams. Perhaps a combination of Stroud and Whitner would fetch a 3rd and something like a 6th or 7th, but that's about it I'd gather. Where is that coming from? Keep Whitner for anything but a 2nd. Listen folks, you have to build off something. If the Bills have any strength, it's thei DBs. You trade Whitner, you need to replace him. That will be a pretty high pick. Keep your DBs unless someone blows your doors off. I don't want to see another db drafted in the next 3 years. You want to blame Whitner for not stopping HOF Tomlinson 8 yards downfield after LT ran untouched (again) through our front 7. You're being very hard on Whitner. It's almost comical. They will have to replace him at seasons end anyway, he is in the last year of his rookie contract. And George Wilson and Bryan Scott are both on the roster and Dominique Harris is on the practice squad.
Punch
Where is that coming from? WGR mentioned it as having come from an Indianapolis radio station. It seemed plausible (a potential trade relationship) considering we traded McCargo to the Colts and also that Kyle Williams is not exactly a household name, but it may only be a rumor. Green Lightning
I'm not a Donte hater. He's a solid safety. It's not his fault he was a #8 pick. That said, a package of Donte and Stroud for a 3rd would be fine with me.
apuszczalowski
Why not deal Williams? Like people say, he's not a prototypical 3-4 NT, and the drafted Troupe this year to play NT, why not get something for Williams, trade himwhile his value is hot for sweet, precious Draft picks that will equal success!
