Dante Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 To Seattle for a 4th rounder pick in 2011 and some sort of conditional pick
St Jimmy Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 To Seattle for a 4th rounder pick in 2011 and some sort of conditional pick Jay Glazer reporting via Twitter also same trade
akm0404 Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Told you he'd never go for anything less than a 4th. What a terrible trade. One old man RB and one RB that can't touch it more than 10 times a game. I hope we use our new 4th round pick to draft a running back!

ChasBB Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Nice value under the circumstances. A 3rd would have been nicer, but just got to move forward. The Bills need to stockpile draft picks right now and this is a good start.
tbonestake Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/10/05/seattle-swipes-marshawn-lynch-from-the-bills/ Cue the Nix haters in 3...2...1
eball Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 This restores, somewhat, my faith in the front office. Lynch needed to go, and it looks like Buffalo will perhaps get two picks out of it. Seattle's 4th is going to be pretty high as well.
In space no one can hear Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports the Seahawks have acquired RB Marshawn Lynch from the Bills in exchange for a 2011 fourth-round pick and a conditional 2012 draft pick.

Don't know the ins and outs of the contract stuff in the NFL Edited October 5, 2010 by Dante
San-O Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Why tarde Lynch? Does that make the Bills a better team? Someone explain that.

The Bills backfield is wayyyyyyy too crowded ... Spiller wasn't going anywhere ... so we either had to trade Lynch or Jackson, we at least got something, I would have rather got two picks next year ... or maybe just a third this year ... or maybe a player .... but we got something
The Big Cat Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 We're definitely going to beat Jacksonville.
nucci Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Does this free up some cap money as well? Don't know the ins and outs of the contract stuff in the NFL There is no salary cap this year.

He is a good all purpose back. Spiller is one of the few potential stars on the team and he will get a lot of touches. If this trade is real it is about all you can expect. Best wishes to Lynch but he is caught in a numbers game. He has great ability.
Doc Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 (edited) That conditional pick better (potentially) be a high one. Edited October 5, 2010 by Doc
