freester
I read that he may require microfracture surgery. I think he is gone after this year.

DreamOnDan
He signed a six year contract with a big bonus. He won't be cut this offseason. The only way Buffalo gets out of this whole deal is for Vincent to retire. He won't, Buffalo is stuck with the guy. Better get used to it. He'll be our starting FS next year. If he retires it saves us btween 1.5 and 3 milio next year.

Even a stale glazed doughnut would have realized that he was using the Bengal's supposed interest as a bargaining chip. The B'gals had zero interest in him - they spoke to him out of professional courtesy, no more.
Alaska Darin
Vincent is worth a ton in the locker room. His mentoring of Lee Evans in camp and throughout the preseason is paying SERIOUS dividends now. Get off the guy.
bartshan-83
To those who now say that signing Vincent was stupid, I bet you are the same people who IF TD had not locked down a top-quality CB, would have been bitching. He has been hurt the whole year, give him a chance. Imagine our secondary with him in it.

There's been multiple quotes from Evans and the defensive backs saying that TV has helped them out tremendously this year. CW
Guest tim in ak
This is so dumb...he's our starting FS next year, whihc is good, allowing us to invest all our draft picks along the lines and maybe adding some running back depth.

No more Derrius Thompson's or Bryan Gilmore's making key 3rd down catches, cause Greer and Thomas cant cover them well enough in our nickel packages... BillsSouth
He´s not going to be cut, the cap hit would be too large and he´s a nice locker room mentor. But he won´t be worth his salary on the field either.

stuckincincy
That's one of the most wrong opinions I've read all day. B) 150688[/snapback] The local paper's beat writers held the same opinion. "What a dumb move signing TV would be" would sum up their thoughts. The B'gals had already inked CB Delthea O'Neal and went on to draft FS Madieu Williams (likely to make the All-Star rookie squad) and CB Kirwan Ratliff...
