AKC Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 He's a surprisingly cordial guy who unlike a lot of former players likes talking about the game.
John from Riverside Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 Is that the same guy who bills were throwing batteries at in a home game?
PIZ Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 Did he flip you off after you told him you were a Bills fan?
MikeG Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 should have dumped it on his head.... i know people say he's a nice guy... but I don't care, I remember him when he played and will never like him, it's his own fault.
nick in* england Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 drink the beer. give him the :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: and run!
drunkenirishmann Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 I'm jealous......... players like him make the game within the game more exciting and dramatic. Lets face it, he was just another reason to hate the fins even more! Without a doubt I would buy that guy a drink.

Mark VI Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 He's on TVG Horseracing network every Saturday afternoon from Hollywood Park. He's actually a fairly good handicapper.

AKC Posted December 7, 2004 Author Posted December 7, 2004 Where'd you run into him? 150352[/snapback] Busby's on Santa Monica and Berkely in Santa Monica. Our home there is about 5 blocks from the Fox Sports Net studios where they film Best Damn Sports Show and we run into sports players all the time there. We got "well-lubricated" with Jim Kelly there this past summer ;-) To others points about the old rivalry, I actually told him that many of us realized the type of language being hurled his way in Buff and said the majority of the base was embarrased by a small number of our fans. He was very appreciative of that and mentioned that he thought we were one of the great fan bases in the league.
bobblehead Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 The thing about Bryan Cox, wherever he played, they made him a team captain. He may have been public a-hole #1 wherever he did not play, but if the Bills ever had the chance to pick him up, I would have offered to pay for the plane fare.
BRH Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 I would have called up Carwell Gardner and told him to come down and meet an old friend.
Rubes Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 I'll give him this...he sure as hell made me love to hate the Dolphins even more.
Gavin in Va Beach Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 Cool deal. Love him or hate him, he played the game the way it was meant to be played. I second the others that have said it would have been cool had he been a Bill.
CajunBillsBacker Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 He may have been an ass to his opponents, especially us, but he was all class as far as being a teammate goes. I met him for training camp when he was with the Saints and he was a first class stand up guy. He talked to the fans the most.
