PromoTheRobot
Sanchez sez Bills talk nasty While the Jets' quarterback went to great lengths to credit the smack for motivating him and his teammates to a 38-14 rout, Sanchez refused to specify which Bills had said exactly what was supposedly so offensive. So I guess this is how the Jets motivate themselves. Inventing insults to their team. Seriously, who on the Bills is going to talk crap? NoSaint
This is like the 3rd time that weve heard this about the bills this year..... strange....
Punch
FWIW, Thurman Thomas speculated it could have related to criticisms he levied on Braylon Edwards via Twitter--- although, even Thurman said this would be really weak on their part. Several NFL players follow him, so maybe it's possible. There was definitely no smack coming out of OBD.
zow2
Last night on Football Night in America (NBC), Peter King had some sound bytes of Sanchez talking about this. Then they said the Jets had no right to complain about trash talking since they are the kings of it. Then Rodney Harrison pipes up "well, when you play the Bills, you need something for motivation"..and the whole set had a bunch of laughs. argh! akm0404
Have you guys seen the games? The DBs constantly talk a truckload of junk out there. Every time Whitner makes a tackle he stands over the guy and tells him all about it. Florence flaps his gums non-stop out there. I'm fine with it, it's part of the game. Plus the DBs are pretty decent, so they have a bit of wiggle room.
BillsFanNC
Guilty? Isn't this a common occurrence in all NFL games? Seriously, I don't watch a ton of non-Bills games, but it seems that in between plays more often than not you can find players jaw jacking back and forth, right? Over 29 years of fanhood
Talked smack at 0-3 while losing big and being physically dominated like that? What do you say? "250 yards rushing all you got??" I would hope they were too embarressed to talk smack. Edited October 4, 2010 by over 20 years of fanhood
