billsfan89 Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 The D is clearly having a difficult time transitioning to the 3-4. Carrington and Troup have yet to make an impact and the Linebackers are a little short stacked as well. I think we need to try and flex in a 4-3 look because our D is just better suited for that. DT's Troup, Kyle Williams, and Stroud (And Spencer Johnson) DE's Kelsay, Maybin, and Ellis probably have to use Ellis and Kelsay a lot (Very short stacked probably have to use Edwards who doesn't really fit the 4-3 DE). OLB- Torbor and Ayodele (Poz could probably play OLB as well Coleman might as well) MLB- Poz and Davis All in all I think we could use the 4-3 to try and stop the bleeding and go to a hybrid D flexing in the 3-4 in with the 4-3. We are going for a pure 3-4 look but its going to get ugly if we just go that way. Not saying we would be that great in a 4-3 but I think we are better equipped to play the scheme and it could help us against the run. Plus too it does make the D better to have a few different fronts.
