Evidence that we need a FO overhaul

Recommended Posts

Great post Joe! Brilliant contribution and nonsensical bull ****!

And what, pray tell, has Nix done to take the first steps of improvement? How many of his vaunted first-year draft picks are starting? ZERO.

How about his FA aqcuisitions? Oh, that's right. Nix was sleeping when FA started. Looks like he slept through the whole period, frankly.

Thanks to Tim Graham (good work Tim - keep it up) I can beef up my case for a complete revision of the FO personnel department. How do you spell whiff?

Tim Graham Halftime Observations

This goes beyond the CEO, GM and Coach. This is a corporate problem. IMO.

I respect TG but throwing Wood, McKelvin and CJ under the bus like that is um premature and a micro-cosum of their careers thus far.... HOWEVER - I totally agree with teh rest of it. I'm going to do an in depth analyis of our last 7 yyears of drafting and where its gotten us (as opposed to the pats, jets and phins).

You're smarter than that, Nick. We just had an overhaul. You know as well as anyone else things take time, especially when Nix was given a bag of dung as full as the roster he was given.

Nick is right . Nix needs to go. He has no clue how to build a team. He did not bring in sufficient talent and had a mediocre draft with little production from the picks. Kelsay should be getting paid what Ryan Denney is getting paid in Houston -veteran minimum. He is no better than Denney.

I think the Bills need to spend the $19.95 and get ESPN.com insider and Mel Kiper's full draft analysis. The problem that Modrak and co. are having is that by not paying for it, they are only seeing the small free teaser blurbs. The drafts will go much better with the full Kiper break-down of all the players.

You lot need to look beyond Nix/Gailey and start looking at the list of Bills scouts and pro-personnel (starting with Modrak) who are collectively responsible for putting such a poor product on the field for so many years. The names haven't changed much in 10 years... It's a corporate attitude and approach that is off. Compare all of our personnel moves in 10 years, both draft and FA, and they mostly stink...

Show me the overhaul. Do it.

Don't just point at Nix. That was no overhaul. Look at the personnel department for the last 10 years. Not a lot has changed. I mean a TOP TO BOTTOM look at the Front Office. Nix may yet prove to have what it takes, ut what support is he getting? Modrak, honestly how did he not get fired when Donahoe left?

I read on this board that Modrak is not responsible for any of the Bills' bad picks, as he was not the one calling the shots on draft day.
