Edwards, Hardy, and Mitchell are gone. I call that progress.

I do, as well. Now if only I could say the same with the Kelsay re-signing. But I can't. That move, alone, makes me wonder about Nix's ability to think straight. I almost guarantee that the Kelsay re-signing was Ralph's idea, and if I'm right, Nix just siomply allowed Ralph to make that decision and not risk his paycheck to tell Ralph where to stick it. If that's the case, this team is no better offf with Nix at the helm than we were with anybody else.

Ralph's probably really stoked to pick up another couple million. To me this is another indication that the Bills are committed to making money and not winning football games. As others have pointed out, Mitchell isn't an elite player, but he was a solid player at a position of great need for this team. I just don't see how the Bills will get better by continually throwing out players and replacing them with practice squad fodder.

Just an idle thought, I wonder if this has anything to do with the Kelsay contract.

Hey come on now, he did have that ONE play against San Diego

He had two plays in that game...One was the INT in the endzone. The second was the sack in that last drive.
