stonehands85 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Jacksonvile O-line may be the only one that is as bad or worse than ours. They gave up i think 6 sacks last game against Philly. Garrard was hit 15 times that game. Edwards will get demolished behind that line. Consider me suitably chastised, but check out the Jags message board. THEY don't like the encumbent QB , and see TE as an improvement ! Go figure
eball Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I mean, really. The guy isn't even pissed off. So glad this decision was made.
stonehands85 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I mean, really. The guy isn't even pissed off. So glad this decision was made. Sir , of course he's not "pissed off". He's just picked up another pay cheque ?
Buftex Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I can't believe you guys are criticizing Edwards, still, after that interview. He didn't say a single thing you wouldn't want your QB to say. When did Bills fans become such little babies?
The Big Cat Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I can't believe you guys are criticizing Edwards, still, after that interview. He didn't say a single thing you wouldn't want your QB to say. When did Bills fans become such little babies? And when will you bite the bullet and stop defending the guy?
kasper13 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I have a feeling TE's career will go the same way as JP's did. Backup for awhile, maybe start a few games, cut a few times, UFL for a season, Wal-Mart Greeter.
santoro770 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Don't you guys think this is a good fit for the Jags ? Cheap back up QB, who might just get by with a reasonable O-Line ? I think it's sweet pay back to Jags fans when they laughed at us for Rob Johnson!
evilbuffalobob Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 For the love of Christ... he's boring. No charisma, no character, no action. A.M.F.
Malazan Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Well, the good news is he's going to give Garrard advice when they play Buffalo.
ieatcrayonz Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 He definitely obviously definitely should be obviously happy to have a job definitely.
Buftex Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 And when will you bite the bullet and stop defending the guy? You are mistaking me for someone else. I just think the level that people go to here is beyond reasonable. The guy sucked, but it wasn't from a lack of trying, or wanting to succeed.
JPS Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I can't believe you guys are criticizing Edwards, still, after that interview. He didn't say a single thing you wouldn't want your QB to say. When did Bills fans become such little babies? +1. What do expect him to say?
The Big Cat Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 You are mistaking me for someone else. I just think the level that people go to here is beyond reasonable. The guy sucked, but it wasn't from a lack of trying, or wanting to succeed. And up until the run-out-of-bounds-on-4th-down i might have agreed with you about the whole "trying or wanting to succeed" thing. Sorry. Though slamming him for giving what was pretty much the exact same brand of press conferences he gave here...that's silly.
reddogblitz Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Good, now Trent can get back to taking what the defense will give him.
basskik11 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Whats with all the hate for Trent? It didn't work out, he got released, Both parties are moving on. Get over it guys.
truth on hold Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 What's obvious is how much the Jaguar media and fans really want Garrard out and Trent in. Hence all the questions about how quickly can he learn the playbook and get on the field.
MyHorseAteTheKid Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 http://www.jaguars.com/multimedia/?id=3769 He's not very bright...i'm not saying i'm the greatest speaker but this guy sounds like a cheerleader in highschool. I assume your ASAT scores were good enough to get you into a better school than Stanford, otherwise you would have no business criticizing his intelligence... However being an idiot, I can make fun of the Justin Beiber haircut!!!!
Heitz Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Consider me suitably chastised, but check out the Jags message board. THEY don't like the encumbent QB , and see TE as an improvement ! Go figure True, but they don't like Garrard because he's "playing scared" (behind that line, he probably IS scared). If they think that Trent is the cure for *that*, they're pinning their hopes on the wrong guy, IMO. I wish Trent well. Except when he plays the Bills...
DerekJ Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 http://www.jaguars.com/multimedia/?id=3769 He's not very bright...i'm not saying i'm the greatest speaker but this guy sounds like a cheerleader in highschool. I think he did fine with the interview. What's he supposed to say? Tough situation...hope he gets straightened out.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Dont understand the hate. He's as smart and articulate as any other football player, avoided trashing the Bills and seemed pretty positive about the experience. He's gone, and the team can move on. THE END
