The Senator Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 there. I fixed that for the reality-challenged. Well, here we go, man-child. And I thought this was gonna be a fun thread with some good-natured ribbing. Guess you Jets fans are a bit sensitive about that whole Jersey thing, eh? Here, we don't mind lending our team to lower Canada once a season.
Magox Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I am not unintelligble and I wouldn't be calling me that. I got almost 900 on my SATs so I think you might want to eat your words a bit. I didn't really even go to school much and still got a high score like that. P.S. J-E-T-S Jets JEts JETS. This is like watching a trainwreck.....
Mr. ChumChums Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 The ralph is owned by Mr. Wilson, but was built with taxpayer funds. The Maras, the Tischs, and Mr. Johnson completely financed the building of the new Meadowlands. 15 stadiums in the NFL now have PSLs, it's a growing trend. and if the Bills ever want to build a new stadium, they will have to do the same. The public purse strings are simply not open anymore to build these colossal structures. Got it thanks.
Rex Ryan's Lapband Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 The state would be a whole lot less broke is it was for the giant !@#$ing welfare hole called "downstate". Personally I'd like to set you adrift in the Atlantic. Enjoy your "give me $8 and you can drive across this bridge" garbage strewn region. I prefer to look at the Adirondacks instead of burned out Buicks. this state would be broke® without the tax revenue from NYC. (and I live in Rochester) We would be better off without having to compete with all the tax-n-spend libs from down there who go to Albany and spend like drunken sailors. wait... that's not fair to drunken sailors, at least they spend their own money.
thebug Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I'm not one to rub people's face in the dirt unless it is a real face and real dirt but you guys sure are having a tough year huh? I mean 0-3 and now to have to face a team that is pretty much unvinceable. Maybe you'll get to win some other game. I really did not come here to brag none because although I am a Jets guy it's not like football is the end of the world or nothing. I came to tell a funny story that could have ended up a lot funnier. I got a call the other day that I might have a job on Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning helping a certain quarterback to be removed from the Jets facility in a way so he knows to never come back. Me and Vincenzo were supposed to show up and when a certain dude had packed his stuff up we were supposed to "escort" him and his sister to his car. I think he was supposed to end up looking like Celtic Soulja looks after one of his Saturday night altercations. Otherwords not good. End of story is that Rex called and said some other team got him for the same reason first but has to keep him for two weeks. Rex said there is no way he could have this guy around for two weeks and that I might get a call from a fed up guy named Jack soon. I'm not sure what to make of it. P.S. J-E-T-S Jets JEts JETS. Hey Spags, long time no hear? You still pissed at me for the safe thing?
CodeMonkey Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 The only thing .. and I do mean the only thing about sucking as much as the Bills do this season is when they are able to upset a team like the J E T S. Fatboy talks a good game, as always, but the last time I checked Vegas had the jets as only a 5 point favorite over one of the worst teams in football. Hell, the Pats were 13.5 to 14.5 point favorites just last week! Doesn't sound like vegas thinks the jets are "unvincible".
Chandemonium Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Well I don't know if you rode your dinosaur to the test in the day but my teacher said I got the highest score in the whole school. 900 out of 1000 is like 90 out of 100 which is an A which is the highest score. I am also pretty smart in IQ that way even better because I have a 93 out of 100. Actually, 100 is the average on IQ tests. Its scored on a normal curve with a standard deviation of 15. scores between 85 and 115 are considered to be in the normal range. Your 93 is on the lower half of normal, but even that sounds like its giving you too much credit.
Billmatic Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Do we have a HOF for Threads? we should nominate this immediately.

I'm just giving you a ribbing back. no need to get all offended. Geez, a little hopelessness and despair really brings out the worst in some of you guys, eh?
Jimmy Spagnola Posted September 29, 2010 Author Posted September 29, 2010 That Depends on when you took the SAT's. Before there was no writing in the exam and was out of 1600, but that was around 2005. The fact that this person said that the SAT's were out of 1000 leads me to believe that he is trolling. there is no way someone can be that dumb. but then again i don't see how someone can even try to sound as dumb as we percieve this individual to be. You might want to take that up with my teacher Mrs. Guaranelli. She about 83 when I had her but you didn't want to go around telling her she was wrong if you like the back of your head in one pice.

Thats totally wrong. The influence peddlers in Albany have been siphoning off upstate funds for years to keep afloat the socialist NYC economy, which always runs massive budget deficits.

Dont pretend like R's spend less than D's. Both spend too much only R's pretend liek they care.
GOBILLS78 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Oh man, I might not leave this thread all day. Awesome. Some people are still playing along, some people remain completely oblivious, some people are hijacking this thing to the PPP level and others are having real football conversation. Thank you.

"upstate funds siphoned off" can't possibly work based simply on numbers. Without the city, we're essentially Kansas.
Jimmy Spagnola Posted September 29, 2010 Author Posted September 29, 2010 Hey Spags, long time no hear? You still pissed at me for the safe thing? I don't get pissed. I get even. But I seen a ghost of the boss that day and ain't no safe worth messing with a ghost. P.S. J-E-T-S Jets JEts JETS.
