CajunBillsBacker Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 Then Indy can go on and win the Super Bowl and we can claim that we are the 2nd best team in the league all offseason. It would be great to see a Bills playoff game again.
DC Tom Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 Is a wild card date at Indy... 149658 Indy has no defense. Properly game-planned (run the ball, run the ball, run the friggin' ball), it's winnable. Although...I just flashed on McGee covering Harrison.
CosmicBills Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 If that happens I have no doubt the Bills will beat Indy. B)

erynthered Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 Is a wild card date at Indy... 149658 Its like the Lottery, gotta play to win.
Rico Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 The key to victory is simple: Just get Sam Adams to squish Manning like Siragusa squished Gannon in 2000. Well worth a 25K fine.
DC Tom Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 In an ironic twist-of-fate, a reverse of Super Bowl XXV is in order... 149673 Pretty much. Actually, provided the game plan is there and the team executes properly, I like the match-up. And for the first time in ages, I actually trust the coaching staff to properly plan a game. The real problem is that you never really know which Bills team is going to show up for a given game...the one that shredded Seattle, or the one that got embarrassed on national TV by New England. But let's not kid ourselves: a rookie head coach, an 0-4 start, changing RBs in mid-season...it would be a minor miracle and a rather pleasant surprise just making the playoffs.
Mikie2times Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 Playing at Indianapolis is still very up in the air if we found a way to get in. IMO the more likely opponent would be San Diego. If the Bills and Jets Finish 10-6 we get a higher seed, if the Colts finish with the #3 we would not play them. If the Bills get in and the the other wild card has any one of these records Broncos 10-6/Ravens10-6/Jets 11-5 (just pick one obviously) we would get the 6th seed. If San Diego beats the Colts they would most likely be the #3 seed and the 6th would play them. Like our playoff chances it is still very much up in the air
erynthered Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 Just talking about and reading about it is encouraging, but then again we lost to Miami, didn’t we? At least according to ICE.

IMO the ideal set-up would be: Wild Card: win at San Diego (Marty chokes again) Quarter-Finals: win at Pittsburgh (Cowher chokes again) AFC Champ. : win at Indy (Manning beats Pats but chokes again) Super Bowl: Bills stomp whoever (Bills finally remove choke label)

ICE Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 Lets see...the Record for most TD's in one game is 7? Yeah we ought to keep manning from doubleing that...

If by some miracle we got in and drew the right set up we could get to the AFC championship game. Out of the big boys in the AFC the two teams I'm confident we can play with are Pittsburgh and San Diego. If we could just get in they very well could be the two teams we would have to play in round 1 and 2.

After the way this year started, I'd be thrilled with a Wild Card win.
