Heathcliff Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 One thing that was missing from our usual NE* debacle was the lack of Wilfork blowing up nearly every play and creating his "take it to the bank" turn over. Did our interior line play improve that much, did the coaching staff intentionally keep plays away from him? Or has he declined that much. I did not pay particular attention to this detail but would love to hear specifics or theories.
Phil Hansen Forever Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 You're right, not only did Wilfork not mess with the offensive line, but for the most part NE's defense didn't appear all that threatening. Had our defense done as well as the first two games, we could have won the day.

billsfaninvgs Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Nice point.. Wish I noticed.. I was so cought up in everything else going on.
truth on hold Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 hes having an off year so far. got no push in the Jets game either
DanInUticaTampa Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 (edited) I don't want to take anything away from the offensive line, because they did play well at this game, but I haven't seen wilfork play all that well in the other games this season either. I guess his payday put him in relaxed mode. Edited September 29, 2010 by DanInUticaTampa
