5 Wide Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I can picture Edwards giving the Jags pointers on defending the Bills..... Coach: Trent, what do they like to do on 1st downs? Trent: Well, as I recall, pass to the flats to set up a 2nd and 9 Coach: Ok Trent, well what's their tendencies on 3rd and long? Trent: Well, as I recall, it was a pass to the flats to set up a punt Coach: Ok, thanks Trent, you can go
kasper13 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I'm calling it right now, Trent comes off the bench in the 2nd half and leads the Jaguars to a comeback win against the Bills, dropping the Bills to 0-5 and people leave the Ralph, drive downtown and start jumping off the Peace Bridge. Book it.
Red Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 god i would love to see Trent start that game. he's so easy to defend against. Not a threat to run...not a threat to step up in the pocket...not a threat to throw frozen ropes 25 yds down the middle of the field with accuracy (ala Tom Brady). That's about as much as you could ask for a defense. Oh c'mon. Trent would be a superstar if he played against our D. We can't rush the passer, Poz would be injured again, and our offense would struggle to score.
