/dev/null Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 If he ends up in Carolina someone please mail me their Edwards jersey and I will wear it to a game. Ditto to this, but instead of Carolina if Trent ends up in 2011 with the Norfolk UFL franchise
Rico Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I hope he doesn't end up in Seattle, so soon after J.P. got cut there.
GR8PRKN Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I'll take the under. I can't believe anyone here believes that was the case with Edwards. I would have untill his Bell was rung... And after the Pats last year, but then he fell apart with the rest of the team...
Bart Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 According to PFT, both the 49ers and Seahawks "like" Edwards. Chris Mortensen lists the Panthers, Jaguars, Chiefs, and Jets as other teams that could have interest. It's important to note that waiver priority will be determined by team's 2009 records. Hope the Jets pick him up so we will have a chance of beating them if Sanchex gets knocked out.

Captain Hindsight Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 He hasnt had his yearly injury yet...hes good for another 100 performance!
C l u t c H 385 Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 What is the over/under on posts lamenting the Bills let their "QB of the Future" walk out the door? PTR What happened? I mean he was so damn good is preseason....
rafter Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I would laugh my ass off if he went to the jaguars, started, and torched the bills when the two played. We play the 3-4 now. Trent's nemesis.
rafter Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 indy needs a back up for payton If he has a choice, I would think he would join a team with a less established starter.
ConradDobler Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 If he has a choice, I would think he would join a team with a less established starter. Trent is a roleplayer. He would love to be a backup. No fire.
rafter Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Trent is a roleplayer. He would love to be a backup. No fire. I agree that is his preferred role, but I'm not sure he knows it.
tonyd19 Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 (edited) Sometimes both the guy and the team need a change of scenery to get back on track. I hope Trent has a long career in the NFL and this move gets the Bills one step closer to finding their QB of the future. Edited September 28, 2010 by tonyd19
reddogblitz Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I'm sure there are some flag football teams in Los Gatos that need a QB.
Joaquin1119 Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 (edited) trent going to end up like rob Johnson.. going to a team and win a superbowl as a back up lol Edited September 28, 2010 by mentalsick
SouthGeorgiaBillsFan Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 (edited) It will be interesting to see what happens. I personally hope he comes back and shreds the Bills some time this season. It would be poetic justice. Edited September 28, 2010 by SouthGeorgiaBillsFan
Bob Goulet Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 (edited) "I salivate at the thought that one day we could play against a team with Trent Edwards as QB. Just think of it... " +1000000000000000000 Edited September 28, 2010 by garbo
MRW Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 It will be interesting to see what happens. I personally hope he comes back and shreds the Bills some time this season. It would be poetic justice. You should change your screen name.
TheChimp Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 We play the 3-4 now. Trent's nemesis. Yeah, with Chris !@#$ing Kelsay at LB. Please. We play the 3-4 like Ken West plays the Tampa II.
The Senator Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Hope the Jets pick him up so we will have a chance of beating them if Sanchex gets knocked out. I wouldn't put it past Rex Ryan to sign Edwards for a week, then release him after Sunday's game - Ryan did a similar thing with Kevin O'Connell the week before the Jets faced NE* last season... Last year, the New York Jets signed Patriots washout Kevin O'Connell just days after the 2008 third-rounder was released by New England. The Jets' primary aim wasn't hard to figure out - pump the former quarterback for information about the Pats' offense. And his role was vital enough for the Jets to actually make him a captain for their game against the Pats on September 20, 2009. Jets may have upper hand over Patriots because of backup Kevin O'Connell According to PFT, both the 49ers and Seahawks "like" Edwards. Chris Mortensen lists the Panthers, Jaguars, Chiefs, and Jets as other teams that could have interest. It's important to note that waiver priority will be determined by team's 2009 records. The Jets are a possibility for a one-week gig, only because we play them this Sunday. My guess is Trent ends up on 'Team Dakota'.
