BRH Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 So much for any trade offers from other teams. And we would have gotten what, from whom, exactly? They shopped him, got laughed at, and cut him. I'm fine with it.
Fan in Chicago Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 And somewhere JP Losman snickers with a Molson EX in hand.
gmac17 Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 they are freeing up space to make jeff george the highest paid QB in bills history.
John Cocktosten Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Does anyone know where dog1487 is? Is he okay?!?!?!?!
DC Tom Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 The starter in week 2...cut after week 3. Truly a Mickey Mouse organization.
PromoTheRobot Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 The starter in week 2...cut after week 3. Truly a Mickey Mouse organization. As opposed to sticking with a guy who is totally useless. Now that's top notch! PTR
Kipers Hair Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 The starter in week 2...cut after week 3. Truly a Mickey Mouse organization. Just about says it all doesn't it? One of 30 jobs in the world to the streets of WNY...amazing!
bizell Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 somewhere, Bill in NYC is crying in his beer.
SwampD Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 (edited) Ttrent haters rejoice! I'm nota Trent hater, just a Bills lover. I wish him the best. What has Edwards ever done to deserve this kind of favor? I wish the Bills would let me go. Edited September 27, 2010 by SwampD
tecmobowlbills Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 (edited) wow...yeah just saw that on ESPN there is another topic on this though Edited September 27, 2010 by tecmobowlbills
Bufcomments Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Trent played himself off the team...they had to make the move I like it. If you can't play your out of here....way to go Buddy. Now get yourself a Real QB will ya... Thank you...
Fan in Chicago Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 The starter in week 2...cut after week 3. Truly a Mickey Mouse organization. I would call it being decisive. Chan, the QB savior, probably saw there was nothing to salvage here and probably infuriated that the promise of the pre-season went up in smoke in a matter of 2 games to the point where it became difficult to evaluate the rest of the personnel on offense. Holding on to Trent would serve no purpose and probably drag the organization down.
GR8PRKN Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 And we would have gotten what, from whom, exactly? They shopped him, got laughed at, and cut him. I'm fine with it. Totaly agree.... Let him go out an see what he can find, we are moving on

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Does anyone know where dog1487 is? Is he okay?!?!?!?! Cocktosten for the win!
JPS Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I like the message it sends to the rest of the team. You don't perform, you're gone. But I am puzzled by the contract extension for Kelsay. What message does that send?
Realist Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Great move by Gailey. There's no reason to having TE stick around and remind the other players that if Fitz screws up it could be Trent again. I supported TE ever since he was a starter, but he was very indecisive and cautious out there. Very glad Chan had the guts to get rid of him now. Now I wonder if there is going to be a signing in the next couple of days. For those wondering why we didn't trade him, newsflash, every one has film on TE and they know better to give up anything for garbage, and that's how he played recently.
