Gronkowski

Watching the game today, I can't figure out why the Bills did not draft Gronkowski.

 

We clearly need a TE. He is a big body who can block and catch, and he's a hometown guy. The Buffalo News wrote up an article on him prior to April, and I was hoping that it would be a sort of tip of the hat-type of thing that we may be interested.

 

After watching today's game, I can't help but think that another one got away. We could use a TE like Gronkowski.

Hernandez is going to be amazing, as well. I still would have loved to have got him, we need a TE we can count on, at the least a Riemersma,

We took Troup right before Rob Gronkowski. Hindsight makes everyone a draft genius. We needed D-line help more than a TE, though you can argue we needed more positions than RB when we took Spiller.

Exactly. You'd have to think that Gronk would be starting.

I actually didn't want to take an early pick chance on a guy who didn't even play football last year because of back surgery. I figured if he felt confident in his back, he'd come back and play a year of college ball.

Has anyone else noticed that more and more teams are popping up with new Gronkowski's around the league?

I thought he would drop a bit more in the draft but he got snapped up. Brady is a master of the look off and having two good TEs is going to screw up a lot of teams this year. Got to give the Cheats credit for that.
