NaPolian8693 Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 If Trent had blown this game, there would be plenty of Trent bashing threads. Today the offense played better than anyone could have expected, and the defense let everyone down and did absolutely NOTHING out there. Kudos to the offense for a respectable showing, but all the things that are wrong with the defense were really highlighted out there.

DarthICE Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Seriously? Do you not read the board before you post? People are ripping the D all over the place. We ALL know the D is what cost us the win today.
Huuuge Bills Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 We are running a defense which we don't have the correct personnel to run, going up against one of the 5 best QB's of all time. This is about what we should expect.
Wagon Circler Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I think there were a couple of plays where Brady had 13 minutes to throw. Awesome pass rush guys. Big trouble when Kyle Williams is your best pass rusher.
NaPolian8693 Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 It just always feels like whenever the Bills offense finally shows some signs of life, year after year the defense IMMMEDIATELY gives up a touchdown. The defense is only capable of playing at a reasonable level if the offense is struggling.
BEAST MODE BABY! Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 This is the same guy who thinks Kelsay deserves an extension. So, take any of his posts with a grain of salt.
BuffOrange Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 If Trent had blown this game, there would be plenty of Trent bashing threads. Maybe because we've lost a billion games where the defense gave up <17 points? How many games in the last 10 years have we lost where we put up 30? The idea that 20 offensive points (subtracting Moss fumble and kickoff return) is a great game against a mediocre defense says a lot.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 (edited) Didn't you just start a thread that Kelsay needs a contract extension? He is one of the problems with this defense. We are not good on defense and what I think this game showed was how over hyped our secondary is being touted as the strength of our defense. What stood out today was how bad our safeties and corner backs played today. I am used to the usual linebacker and DE talk but guys like Florence and Whitner played just as bad. On defense I only really have hope for players like Byrd, McKelvin and Kyle Williams. Edited September 27, 2010 by BuffaloBillsForever
