The Poojer Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Used to love them back in the day. Saw them a couple times at the lost horizon in syracuse. Never realized they were a philly based band...they are playing tomorrow night at World Cafe Live....I think i may go check out some 'bitchin' camaro', 'punk rock girl' and various other songs from 'yesterday'....
Cugalabanza Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Yes. I haven't listened to them in a while though. Maybe it's time to revisit. I didn't know they were still performing.
The Poojer Posted September 24, 2010 Author Posted September 24, 2010 i had seen that a couple of the members were doing shows around town recently...but i guess this is fringe week in philly, so they have a lot of eclectic acts and various artists scheduled...and they are playing the WCL tomorrow.... Yes. I haven't listened to them in a while though. Maybe it's time to revisit. I didn't know they were still performing.

Is this a offshoot of the dead Kennedy's?
The Poojer Posted September 24, 2010 Author Posted September 24, 2010 no the milkmen were more of a satirical punk band where as the kennedy's were pretty hardcore.....only thing in common is the 'dead' part Is this a offshoot of the dead Kennedy's?
Dr. Fong Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 I used to really like them back in the day. A few of their songs are still on my Ipod rotation. Life is **** is my favorite. Some of their stuff doesn't hold up, but they were always a fun band to see in concert.
