The Dean Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 The PR dept is geared towards actual articles. Not student assignments. She sounds like a whiny, entitled, jackass. To be honest, I'm shocked a company of this size, particularly one that relies on their image with students and student-aged users, doesn't have someone assigned to deal with this sort of request. She might be whiny and sound entitled, but Jobs' response was rude and uncalled for. Apparently he's so damn rich he doesn't give a rat's ass about his customers anymore.

A canned response would have been the way to deal with her if he chose to do so. He forwards it to the appropriate person and a polite, "No way in hell we deal with you due to the overwhelming...blah blah blah" is sent. He chose to respond to her, spending way more time than he should have or simply delete it. He is clearly an asshat.
