bmur66 Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 (edited) I can't believe the Bills actually signed Pat Ryan. That kid is awesome. I saw him play in college and new he was something special. He has a real cannon too. Edited September 21, 2010 by bmur66
The Beautiful East Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 Well, call me negative but, quite frankly, if we pick up a dude that age, can't we just get Jimbo back? "Patrick Lee Ryan (born September 16, 1955 in Hutchinson, Kansas) is a former professional American football quarterback who played 14 seasons in the National Football League for the New York Jets and the Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at the University of Tennessee and was drafted in the eleventh round of the 1978 NFL Draft."

The Beautiful East Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 I just wonder whether anybodyat OBD has bothered to tell Fitz about this. He might just be preparing for the game on Sunday while the starting job has been given to an old foagie.

evilbuffalobob Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 I'm all about Vinny Testiclevertebrae or Steve DeBerg. ... but I only want DeBerg if he agrees to wear a a big cast on his hand to disguise play action on EVERY play.
The Beautiful East Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 Will you guys give Pat Ryan a chance instead of already discussing the alternatives!?
Captain Caveman Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Brian McClure is available. Nice. Playing career McClure played for the Falcons from 1982-1985 where he set numerous offensive records. His 900 completions and 10,280 yards passing are both school records. He also threw 63 touchdowns which was the school record until Omar Jacobs threw 71 from 2003-2005. In 1985, he lead the Falcons to an undefeated regular season, but lost to Fresno State in the California Raisin Bowl.[1]. McClure was drafted in the 12th round of the 1986 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. He played in one NFL game as a replacement player during the 1987 NFL players strike. He threw for 3 interceptions and no touchdowns in a loss to the New York Giants.[2]
