Swift Sylvan Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 If we had kept free agents who we think we should have held on to what would our team look like right now? You can throw in imaginary people we had drafted instead of someone else if you wish. QB's: Losman (sticking with his post 2006 and utilizing deep passes), Fitzpatrick, Brohm RB's: Lynch, Jackson, Spiller WR's: Owens, Evans, Reed, Parrish, Johnson, Nelson TE's: Nelson, Cieslak, Stupar OL: Peters, Butler (would he have retired if we were better?), Hartinger, Levitre, Walker, Incognito, Bell 4-3 Defense DE: Schobel, Hargrove, Kelsay, Edwards DT: Williams, Williams (Pat), Stroud, Johnson OLB: Spikes, Mitchell, Ellison, Crowell ILB: Fletcher, Poz DB: McGee, Greer, McKelvin, Florence, Corner S: Whittner, Byrd, Wilson, Scott Is this talented enough to go to the playoffs...the line certainly seems like it could have been decent.
Bom Trady Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Being in the toughest division in football surely doesn't help. This team defensively has signs of hope, the secondary is the strong point of the entire team, at least from what I've seen. I think it's safe to say the organization is in a rebuilding process. O-Line needs to be addressed and players need time to develop. Spiller was a great pick but he's not going to have a huge impact until he gets some help. Possibly trading one of your 800+ yard capable backs might help you get someone at a position of need, too.
