jahnyc Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Edwards was replaced by Fitz last year, and neither had any real success. No upgrades at QB during the offseason, and now it is Edwards/Fitz again, with the same results likely. I don't understand why there was no effort made by the front office to at least bring in a veteran QB to compete. Bulger would have been a big improvement, even with our poor o-line, wrs and tight ends. Going with Edwards and Fitz was the worst possible plan, particularly after last season. Now we need to draft a franchise qb and hope that he will develop. Meanwhile, we are wasting this year instead of trying to be competitive with a veteran QB or giving a QB of the future valuable playing time. There is really no excuse for the failure to upgrade the talent on offense this past offseason. The lack of talent at key positions was obvious.
Dennis in NC Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Apparently, they tried to trade for McNabb, but he was not interested. Understandable since he would likely be running for his life a lot with Bills. But they tried to get him.
