Deep2Moulds46 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I know a lot of fans liked him, but he is now an Eagle.
b stein 22 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Well the eagles just became my new second favorite team.
dgrid Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 dam, good luck to him. wish we could'a kept him somehow
DonInBuffalo Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 The odds of Lynch being traded just dropped dramatically
transient Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 The odds of Lynch being traded just dropped dramatically  +1
Chandler#81 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Hope I'm wrong, but I think the Bills are going to regret this..
sharper802 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 The odds of Lynch being traded just dropped dramatically Because a PS player left the team???? You really think that matters in the grand scheme? Who was the third RB behind Lynch Jackson last year? Nobody. If they want to move Lynch they can pick up a scrap somewhere and make him third string behind Jackson/Spiller. Still would rather they move Jackson but I am sure they can get more for Lynch.
eSJayDee Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 wish we could'a kept him somehow  I believe we had that option. I think the way it works is a team "requests" to sign a player from your PS. You(we) then have the option of bringing him up to the 53 man roster (& presumably are required to keep him there for sometime) or allow him to be signed. Apparently, we didn't think him worthy of reserving a spot on the active roster. As someone else stated below, I think this makes it pretty obvious we're not close to dealing Marshawn. Then again, w/ this regime, who knows.
EC-Bills Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 The odds of Lynch being traded just dropped dramatically  Or maybe they figured they could get someone else just as good if not better than Bell off the street if they needed to. Not that I didn't like Bell, but the only way he would get on the roster is an injury to one of our RBs (who are better).
santoro770 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I was surprised that they didn't keep him on the active roster after the pre-season that he had. Good luck to him though, maybe Peters will block for him...once he's healthy (Peters that is).

Buffalonian-at-Heart Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Don't we have an opportunity to match the offer?
PromoTheRobot Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Bell looked great in pre-season...but so did Spiller. Â PTR
CodeMonkey Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Seemed like a good kid and I think he has some talent. I wish him the best.
Peace Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Running backs re a dime a dozen. Good luck to Bell and all but really, who cares?
The Senator Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Don't we have an opportunity to match the offer? Yes, but we'd have to place him on our active roster (giving us 4 RBs plus Corey McIntyre), and I think Bell still would have the option to choose which offer to accept (much like Brian Brohm, who chose the Bills because he thought he'd have a better chance to start here - even though GB matched the Bills' offer).
DonInBuffalo Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Don't we have an opportunity to match the offer? For starters, they would have to cut somebody to free up a roster spot
