McBeane Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 " ... should be one of the easiest victories of the season." " ... Not much reason to think Buffalo is ready ... " " ... Things could get extremely ugly at Lambeau Field." " ... there's no way the Bills are playoff worthy ... " http://packersnews.g...g-Sunday-s-game They are totally right though. I'd have an extremely hard time arguing any of those points.
truth on hold Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 (edited) I like how they are so dismissive of the Bills. I hope it reflects the mood of the team as they are falling into an over confidence trap. They act as if Pack are defending champs and made several offseason upgrades. Fact is they've done nothing ... didn't even make conference finals last year. They made one attempt to improve their poor line and he got lit up last week. They also lost their only legit every down back for the season. For a team that gave up a league worst 52 sacks last season, I'd say that's a problem. Edited September 19, 2010 by Joe_the_6_pack
Guest dog14787 Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 (edited) Its why they play the game, How could the media not look at it as a good old fashioned ass whipping, Bills in an upset,( I can feel the energy building) I Billieve... Edited September 19, 2010 by dog14787
Captain Hindsight Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 For a team with one of the best quarterbacks in the league against an offense that was only out sucked by Mark Sanchez last week...ill take the packers
Big Turk Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Unfortunately I think most of the posters here agree. We have a QB who is afraid to throw the ball. If that isn't the biggest joke in the NFL, don't know what is.
Mark Vader Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 I do'nt think it's only the Packers media that feels this way about today's game.
WWVaBeach Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 (edited) Seriously, why does this bother you? What has this team shown in the last 3+ years that refutes any of these thoughts? As much as I hate to admit it the GB media may just be spot on with their analysis. Edited September 19, 2010 by WWVaBeach
Murgen Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 For a team that gave up a league worst 52 sacks last season, I'd say that's a problem. Most of those sacks came in the 1st half of the season. They only gave up like 10 in their final 7 games. One of the guys on the O-line last year didn't even make the GB team this year.
BillsVet Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Seriously, why does this bother you? What has this team shown in the last 3+ years that refutes any of these thoughts? As much as I hate to admit it the GB media may just be spot on with their analysis. I think it's closer to 10+ years, but who's really counting anymore. Until the Bills show something on the field, like a win over a perennial playoff team, they'll be beat on as being a bad team. Worst thing is, people thought the team wasn't that far away when they went 7-9, 7-9, 7-9, and 6-10 the past 4 seasons, They were so good in fact that they're completely starting over again.
truth on hold Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 Sacked 3x by Eagles last week. He's right on his 50-something pace from last year.
Murgen Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Sacked 3x by Eagles last week. He's right on his 50-something pace from last year. It's still really early. The first game is the toughest for O-linemen. They go from 25-30 snaps in preseason to 60+ the first game. Also I think Rodgers held the ball too long. If they are giving up 3-4 sacks a game 4 weeks in, GB has a problem.

Joe, after watching the ass kicking handed to us, you ready to concede yet that the media is right and the Bills suck?
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Love all the team defenders. "We'll show them!" "They're overconfident!" "That's why they play the games!" Please.
truth on hold Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 Joe, after watching the ass kicking handed to us, you ready to concede yet that the media is right and the Bills suck? Yeap, they called it today
