BobDVA Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 I have the Stanford game keyed in and ready to watch at 11:15 tonight. After watching Locker, then to further diminish the future, I heard Mallott in an interview, sounded like the QB from Revenge of the Nerds. Luck is looking better to me, even though he has been nothing special so far this year
Pete Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Based on his one year (8-4) of playing college football at powerhouse Stanford U? No way Luck declares for the 2011 draft. (But lets say, just for the sake of argument, that Stanford students are really stupid and Luck does declare for the NFL draft in his junior year with just 2 years of playing experience for a mediocre Stanford team - no chance that Buddy Nix picks him. Absolutely none.) We can draft him #1 overall in 2013 (assuming there is not a lock out)
JDHILL Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Jake Locker will be a good NFL quarterback IF, and ONLY IF, he goes to a team with an established QB who can help in his development. That leave Buffalo OUT. In fact, that is WHY Buffalo's QBs have sucked these past few years - the last vet they had was Bledsoe and they treated him like yesterday's garbage. So JP and Trent were on their own and dependent on the Bills' all-star coaching staff. 'Nuff said. Huskies special teams SUCK. Huskers are good but it doesn't hurt that they had the short field just about every possession.
Pete Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 What about Denard Robinson? I wouldn't mind seeing him end up on the Bills

Ramius Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 What about Denard Robinson? I wouldn't mind seeing him end up on the Bills Aside from the fact that he's not a real QB?
Pete Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Aside from the fact that he's not a real QB? that hasn't stopped the Bills since 1985. I dont know whether Robinson makes it in the NFL or what position- but the kid is ultra talented
JDHILL Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 uhmmm. yeah Nebraska is really good and 3 out of 7 drives started at the 20, 20, and the 24.Another started on their own 37. No Nebraska drive started in Washington territory. That isn't the short field. Locker threw one in the gut of Nebraska DB and when faced with pressure routinely threw the ball high. It was a good game if you are Huskers fan wish you would have watched it.
kasper13 Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Looks like Locker was all hype and no substance. He could be decent someday. Said he has only played 15 games as a drop back, pocket passer. It shows. Not 1st overall material at this point, not even 1st round material. Mallett looks like a first round pick so far. We'll see after Alabama next week. Luck is on ESPN2 now against Wake Forest. 21-7 Stanford in the 2nd.
BobDVA Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 What about Denard Robinson? I wouldn't mind seeing him end up on the Bills We could already have someone like him for free, isn't Troy Smith, and Pat White out there available?
Benjamin Barker Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Locker sucks, do not want. He's the next JP Losman.
