This is why I'm so happy we didn't settle for a guy like Clausen in this crappy QB draft. Next year will be loaded with true franchise guys. A foundation of Spiller and Luck/Locker/ Mallett works for me.

Locker looks awful. And totally outplayed by a Freshman QB----who is MUCH faster.

Of all the top QBs, Locker plays with the least talent by far. I don't know if in his 4 years he played with one player on offense who was drafted.

Come on. He's overthrowing or clear missing open receivers. A great college QB makes those around him better.

Good. I hope he drops. I would love to have a QB that can make plays with his arm and feet.

And if he comes to the Bills he will be playing with the least talent in the NFL.

Problems with Mallett becoming a Bill:

1) First and foremost, if Arkansas beats 'bama next week, Mallett is probably the leading candidate for the Heisman;

2) The Bills will have to finish either dead last, or all the teams that finish with worse records than Buffalo pass on Mallett because they already have a star QB;

3) If #1 & #2 hold true (Mallett wins the Heisman AND Buffalo has the #1 overall pick), will Ralph pony up for an $80M contract with $50M+ guaranteed???

A more likely scenario is Gabe Carimi in round one and Jake Locker in round 2 (or maybe someone like Taylor Potts in round 4).

All the while you guys are gushing about the guy, I watched him play and he can be very inaccurate... and not by a hand or arms length, more like 5+ yards. He currently has a decent O line that gives him time to throw and a decent running game, something we haven't seen in Buffalo yet this year.

This QB isn't the type of guy who can do it all on his own.

Looking at the Bills situation this year and the O line, they should have traded for Mike Vick

Locker, Luck, Mallet, OK, those are your mainstream guys.

Is anybody else intrigued by Nevada QB Colin Kaepernick? This kid looks pretty good.

Denard Robinson is the Heisman leading candidate. No one else can be close right now.

Potts will be available as in round 7.

Mallett looks like he's got no mobility..almost no footspeed backing up for a throw. Luck is looking awesome in the first qtr. 6 for 6 and 2 TD's against Wake Forest. Much better mobility than Mallett.

Good chances that next years draft pick won't be singed until after a strike and new deal is worked out. When that deal is done there's a good chance there will be something in place to calm these high draft pick salaries down.

A more likely scenario is Gabe Carimi in round one and Jake Locker in round 2 (or maybe someone like Taylor Potts in round 14).
