nick in* england Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 I didn't see the game yet or anythin gother than the scoring higlights, so can someone break down how the fumble by Willis came about?
Hawk Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 he was stripped of the ball from behind,, while making a 2 yd run into a 6...
34-78-83 Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 He was trying to stay upright in the pile to push for an extra yard or two. Jason Taylor ripped it out while Willis had his legs tied up by other defenders.
Rico Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 Instead of faulting Willis, I have to give props to Jason Taylor, he made a great play.

MadBuffaloDisease Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 Willis gave up the rock. Shouldn't have happened no matter what. Thankfully it didn't hurt the Bills ultimately.

He had the ball tucked in tightly and Taylor--probably using all his strength--just ripped it out. This wasn't the case of Willis loosely carrying the ball. Taylor made a good play. Â Speaking of fumbles, was anyone else worried that Pat Williams was going to get stripped from behind before he scored on his INT return (a la Leon Lett)?
Hawk Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 i THINK HE WAS LETTING OUT SOME GAS ON THE WAY..DID YOU SEE THE WAY EVERYONE WAS BACKING OFF...

He wanted no part of any of that, reminded me of Loser Dan. OLE!

He hit the endzone sooooooo fast nobody had an opportunity to get near the ball.
BRH Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 He wanted no part of any of that, reminded me of Loser Dan. OLE! 148310[/snapback] Are you kidding? Loser Dan would have been walking in the opposite direction, angrily yanking his chinstrap off and bitching at his teammates or the ref. I remember one time he got picked off and the guy ran RIGHT PAST him while Danny Boy was sulking with his head down. Marino could have stuck out an arm and clotheslined the guy, he was so close. At least Feeley gave the appearance of chasing Pat!
BRH Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 As for Willis, I sure noticed he made sure to have two hands on the ball every time he got brought down after that!
