Thurman#1 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 That's a big deal. That really hurts them.
H2o Posted September 14, 2010 Author Posted September 14, 2010 Hurt them it does, but Rex is a big enough guy that he could throw the pads on and take up a couple of blockers.
MattyT Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 This will give him plenty of time to practice his cat calls in the locker room.
Chuck Norris Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Its a big loss, but did anyone really think the Jets were a superbowl team anyway?

Roc Bronson Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 He will finally retire as he wanted to do last offseason...
seadog Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Saw the replay. He got folded over. Leg just buckled under him. Big monster with bad knees. He looked out of shape and should have hung it up after last year. Jets played good without him last year.
Stealth Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 They had a top ranked defense without him for 10 games last season. They won't miss him.
Paup 1995MVP Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 They had a top ranked defense without him for 10 games last season. They won't miss him. Of course they will miss him. The guy is a monster. They have noone who will fill his shoes. The Jets will be lucky to finish 500 with that garbage of an offense they have.
Stealth Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 (edited) Of course they will miss him. The guy is a monster. They have noone who will fill his shoes. The Jets will be lucky to finish 500 with that garbage of an offense they have. Again the jets had the #1 ranked d without him for the last 10 games + postseason and went to the afc championship. Kris Jenkins was a great player. He's obviously not that guy anymore. As far as their offense goes. Yes it's garbage, but I suspect their run game will improve as the year goes on. Whether or not they make the postseason depends on if they can get back to their identity instead of trying to make Sanchez the focal point Edited September 15, 2010 by Stealth

Whether or not they make the postseason depends on if they can get back to their identity instead of trying to make Sanchez the focal point Or it may hinge on a couple of teams rolliing over for them the last two weeks of the season.
DarthICE Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 What is that the 3rd time on the same knee?
Passepartout Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Well it may hurt them, but Rex is always known for coming up with a plan.
