Buffaloed82 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 The Bills coaching staff/administration/sports analysts proclaim it is a rebuilding year. The Bills make some changes to the personnel to bring season ticket holders back. The fans buy into the hype of young, electric rookies, or fiery veterans or no nonsense coaches. The fans re-up on season tickets. The fans forget it's a rebuilding year and start making grandiose claims of "playoffs". The fans are upset when the Bills lose weeks 1-5.(Most games will be lost by 5 or less points in the final 10 seconds to really turn the knife) The Bills pull the fans back with a winning streak(as they always do). The fans start doing the math "if we just win out and the jets lose next week in Miami, we're in!" The Bills win every game but the last one(which will be lost on a botched penalty, field goal miss or muffed punt... and the jets do lose in Miami. The Bills miss the playoffs for the entire decade. By July everyone forgets about the previous year. The Bills are rebuilding this season, too.
