Bad Drivers

I cannot understand why people have no patience or courtesy on our roadways. This morning's commute was especially annoying with oblivious drivers...GRRRRR!!!

Tailgating you when you are doing 70 in a 65mph zone.....Doing exactly the speed limit- not 1 mile over- no sir!!

So you probably tailgate somebody doing 65 but then get pissed when somebody tailgates you doing 70.

 

Does not yield when you clearly have the right of way.....Makes a turn into your lane right in front of you

How dare those nasty people try to drive in "your" private lane!

 

The "get out of my way" attitude on the road (usually done by pickup trucks and SUV's)

Oh those awful trucks and SUV's and their "attitudes"

 

 

I'll bet $1000 that you're one of those terrible drivers that has no idea how terrible they are and therefore ironically complains about "other" terrible drivers.

Most annoying thing they do isn't rolling their SUV through an intersection doing 70 in a 30...it's surviving it. If they're going to try to make a sharp right turn from the far left lane doing more than twice the speed limit in heavy traffic, they could at least have the decency to die in the attempt.

I was going 70 in a 55 mph zone today and still had people on my bumper...either people are just far too impatient when they are driving, or they were all getting close to me because of my Buffalo Bills bumper stickers.

I haven't really driven, aside from on my honeymoon, in the past few years. I will tell you as a resident of NYC that the worst idea ever was to get 8 million people who don't know how to walk and put them all in the same city. The next person who stops directly in front of me is getting cross-checked, Rob Ray style.

My absolute number one pet peeve related to driving is not related to courtesty - just basic knowledge of how to drive.

 

I absolutely HATE IT when I'm behind someone in a left turn lane when the light is green who does not get out in the middle of the intersection but sits there like an idiot at the edge of the intersection - and then either never makes the turn or causes me to as the light turns. I HATE THAT! Learn how to drive!

 

Everytime that happens to me I have the urge to walk up to the car at the ensuing red light and physically separate the driver from his/her license.

Cell phones.... I hate when people are talking on their damn cell phone instead of paying attention to the road. If I was a cop I would make my quota pulling those people over.

I hear that! That crap happens even at malls. People stroll down the street and just STOP.

 

 

The A # 1 thing that bugs me about driving really wasn't listed here.... reading, watching TV, or doing otherwise blatantly distracting things while behind the wheel.
