We discussed it briefly yesterday; it was idiotic. Edwards saw the play clock wind down and, based on instinct, signaled for the TO. The coaches needed to make sure that that didn't happen. It's 3rd and 30 and your pass protection and passing offense has looked horrible. Just give it to Spiller, hope he breaks a long run and if not then punt the ball. Coming out throwing in that situation is just asking for a huge mistake. The risk/reward ratio just isn't worth it.
