peanuts Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 1.)Trade for Logan Mankins 2.)Sign Justin Hartwig 3.)Jon Runyan Add these three guys tomorrow and this team can compete. The running game was non existent today, no push. Draft the guy (offensive tackle) from Wisconsin with your number one next year.. Go Bills, Chan the Man will fix this team in due time..

Not much on research? Mankins wants a Jahri Evans sized deal, and..he's a GUARD. They've got two of those already and neither are moving anywhere. Besides, Buffalo isn't giving out 50M dollar deals anymore. Hartwig is a cast-off and not playing anywhere for a reason. Runyan is retired and running for Congress in Michigan. End of story. The solution is to have better play at LT and RT. Unfortunately, teams don't allow good OT's to hit the open market. They must be drafted and the Bills haven't drafted an OT in the first four rounds since Fat Mike Williams in 2002.

Won't matter. Edwards still is gonna suck regardless. Rodgers and Roehtlesberger prove that your line can suck and you can still be a good QB
BuffaloRebound Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 It is easier to change the QB than make changes at multiple positions on the O-Line. Gotta play the QB who gives you the best chance to win given the current situation.

Now, now...there may be something to the Mankins thing...and we are saving a boatload of money w/out Schobel... Moving Wood to Center, and having Mankins at RG would not be so bad. Well, that...and signing Jeff Garcia.

John Cocktosten Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 1. Gain access to a time machine. (very important) 2. Sign Jason Peters. He's not great but he's better than anything that they have. 3. Don't sign Cornell Green. 4. Make a note in your Pro Personnel scouting guide that says, "No more FA lineman from the Raiders". 5. Draft a couple of tackles in the 2nd and 3rd rounds '09 draft. 6. Return time machine because they're dangerous. Fixed
