Toledo Bill Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Why in the world do we move a horrific defensive end to outside linebacker? What am I missing here?
Sisyphean Bills Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 You're clearly missing the conventional wisdom that said that you can take a poor DE who's shown little or no ability to be a pass rusher, line him up with his hand off the ground, add a pinch of pixie dust, and have a great pass rusher.
Sisyphean Bills Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Start Maybin. Kelsay is awful. Funny.
Astrojanitor Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Why in the world do we move a horrific defensive end to outside linebacker? What am I missing here? Kelsay's performance today was straight up pathetic. He was missing tackles and jumping out of place all day. Just really shockingly awful. One of the 3 or 4 worst players on the field today and that really says something.

Wayne Cubed Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 the guy just looked terrible out there.. i'd rather have maybin out there, at least he is fast enough to cover a receiver

Sisyphean Bills Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) the guy just looked terrible out there.. i'd rather have maybin out there, at least he is fast enough to cover a receiver You know this how? Seriously. All I have ever seen Maybin do is try to rush the passer. When he isn't jumping offsides. Oh, and he gets some style points for jumping late onto a pile and bouncing around like he's Tigger. I'd like to see him show these mad coverage skilz (and coverage is not about having a quick first step). Seriously, I would, because our OLBs suck monkey balls for the most part. Anybody got something? Edited September 13, 2010 by Sisyphean Bills
BillsFanM.D. Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 You might have it the other way around....Ralph seems to have 90 wearing a pair of cement shoes. SLOW...beyond belief. Very "Frankensteinish" in 'space' today.
JPCinSYR..NY Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 he had ronnie brown dead to rights but looked like a pop warner end when they take the wrong step
Endless Ike Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 the guy just looked terrible out there.. i'd rather have maybin out there, at least he is fast enough to cover a receiver Only for the receivers first step...

QB Bills Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Why in the world do we move a horrific defensive end to outside linebacker? What am I missing here? Much like Finkle and Einhorn, Chris Kelsay IS Ralph Wilson. There's no other excuse for a guy who plays like a 90 year old man to be on the field.

He falls down nicely.
Quester74 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 The guy wasn't athletic enough to be a difference maker at DE, and they thinkhe's going to magically make a difference as an OLB?
