Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 (edited) did he whip out a "it's hard to win in the NFL?" Did he say Trent's done for? Anyone hear it? don't be stingy. Share with the rest of us fellow sufferers. Edited September 12, 2010 by Joe In Macungie
Beerball Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I have no desire to go and listen to it.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 12, 2010 Author Posted September 12, 2010 haha already the glazed look. He knows he's screwed.
MDH Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 did he whip out a "it's hard to win in the NFL?" Did he say Trent's done for? Anyone hear it? don't be stingy. Share with the rest of us fellow sufferers. He did say, "when you can't get anything going it's hard to get something going" which is a pretty close relative to Jauron's quote.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 12, 2010 Author Posted September 12, 2010 He did say, "when you can't get anything going it's hard to get something going" which is a pretty close relative to Jauron's quote. He looked like a man who knows he has no chance. Truly inspiring. He actually DEFNDED Trent. Didn't think it was possible, but he did.
ChasBB Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 The mind is a strange thing, men. We must begin by asking it... ..."What is losing?" Losing is a disease... ...as contagious as polio. Losing is a disease... ...as contagious as syphilis. Losing is a disease... ...as contagious as bubonic plague... ... attacking one... ... but infecting all.
HansLanda Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 he's still refreshing. He falls on the sword and means it. but my dog is more refreshing than Jauron so bar is low.
b stein 22 Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I really wanted him to blame trent for being a retard but no luck
Nyghtewynd Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 All he's going to do is repeat whatever the warmed-over owner wrote down for him a few days ago.
BuffaloBill Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 He will come up with answers ... unlike the last regime. Whether he has the talent to win remains to be seen.
Gary M Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 He looked like a man who knows he has no chance. Truly inspiring. He actually DEFNDED Trent. Didn't think it was possible, but he did. Did he mention TEs poise?
wardigital Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 He looked like a man who knows he has no chance. Truly inspiring. He actually DEFNDED Trent. Didn't think it was possible, but he did. What did he say about Trent that would be classified as defending him? Wouldn't defending him require someone attacking him? He said he missed some throws and made some throws.
jad1 Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 He will come up with answers ... unlike the last regime. Whether he has the talent to win remains to be seen. He has the talent to run the ball more than 17 times in a game, that's for sure. As bad as the offense was last season, they still had pretty good numbers in the rushing game. If Gailey can't figure out how to generate some production out of the runners he has on this team, his time here will be short. He spends a 1st round pick on a running back with all the other needs the Bills had, but he couldn't figure out the right game plan or adjustments to 'get something going' when the season starts.

I would'nt say he defended Trent, but he did'nt throw him under the bus either. Actually Chan put a lot of blame on himself.
vincec Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 He sounded just like Jauron to me. My favorite: was when asked how the Dolphins front seven was being so disruptive, he responded that he'd let them know when he found out. No wonder there weren't any effective adjustments taking place...
Punch Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 (edited) The mind is a strange thing, men. We must begin by asking it... ..."What is losing?" Losing is a disease Roy Hobbs had a heck of an arm. I wonder if he could play QB? Heck, I'd settle for a 70 year old Robert Redford, at least he could step up in the pocket. Excellent post. Not running the ball today is what cost us this game, IMO. We have the talent at RB and yet we failed to exploit it. We started the game passing 3 straight times, why?
Punch Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 We started the game passing 3 straight times, why? The only explanation is that he had Trent on his fantasy team. Although that's pretty inexcusable in it's own right.
ChasBB Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Edwards' press conference now posted on BuffaloBills.com, as well. Let me save you the trouble: "got to watch it on film" ... "fix what we need to fix" blah, blah
