C l u t c H 385 Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 I am going with 2.5 against the Dolphins.... How about you? Seriously, 2 questions: 1. What are you on? 2. Do you have any more?
bisonbrigade Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 I was gonna say 2.5 for the year... I am more of an optimist. I say 3 for the year.
Thoner7 Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 If the past is any type of idication, I can quite literally guarantee he will have less than 5 sacks this season. I will say 3.5 for the eyar, and none vrs Miami.
BobChalmers Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 (edited) The guy has got to break out sometime, I think it will be this week. Break out? Like, in a rash or something?? Edited September 10, 2010 by BobChalmers
Another Point of View Posted September 10, 2010 Author Posted September 10, 2010 Man, you guys are bad on Maybin
John Cocktosten Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Break out? Like, in a rash or something??
Wing Man Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Maybe the official scorers will be fooled when he does his usual "fall on the guy after someone else gets a tackle or sack and then get up and celebrate like he just made the game winning play of the super bowl". OMG!!!!
stevestojan Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 The guy has got to break out sometime, I think it will be this week. Break out of what? Kids R Us clothes?
sllib olaffub Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I'm going to be optimistic and say 8 on the year, one Sunday to open up the year with against the Phins. Sure, he could tank and get like 1 or 2 sacks this year, but he must think about Orakpo going after him, not to mention linemen like San Diego's rookie, or Green Bay's, and feel like he's got to prove people he was no joke. Because, I'd have to think, given the new regime's lack of attachment to former picks, that he's got this year to show off his skills or bust. So, 8 is a realistic wish, hopefully more.
KalvinoHernandez Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 He'll beat Jake Long cleanly on a counter-move in the first quarter, leading to a thread that debates whether or not he can get to 14 this year. Are you high?
evilbuffalobob Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 4 for the year. 3 of which will accumulate from half-sacks. Perhaps if he takes down that unwarranted heinous web site and grows-up a bit + shuts up + actually suits up... he'll find some sacks... other than his own.
flipjohnson Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 For all the criticism of weight, attitude, immaturity, etc. the kid is the fastest player we've had off the edge this century. His only job this year seems to be to get to the passer. Forget about whether the pick was justified - let's see if he can get to the QB. I say he'll lead the team with 8-10 minimum.
Sisyphean Bills Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 The guy has got to break out sometime, I think it will be this week. JaMarcus Russell has to break out at some time too? Answer: 0
GR8PRKN Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Hmmm The Dolphinis have this guy named Jake Long, and he is really good So probably none, bit who knows maybe he will surprise us all. I hope he gets a bunch and proves all of us wrong as I have never liked the pick... 2 if he lines up away from Long
