ChasBB Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Described as "minor" accident. He was "shaken". Did not go to hospital ... http://content.usatoday.com/communities/thehuddle/post/2010/09/radio-station-patriots-qb-tom-brady-involved-in-minor-car-accident/1 That's good. Hate to hear stuff like that.
Chandler#81 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 GM to Kraft: Boss, Tommy Boy was just in a car accident! Kraft: Hold off on the contract talks! GM: You can't be serious! He's our bread & Butter!! Kraft: He's over the hill and can't keep out of harm's way. him! Trade him to Buffalo!
Buffalo Billy Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 I guess I'm a bad person for hoping for maybe a sprained ankle or wrist, just enough to keep him out a few weeks...

Glory Bound Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 I guess I'm a bad person for hoping for maybe a sprained ankle or wrist, just enough to keep him out a few weeks... Won't it be sweeter when we beat them with Brady playing?
IDBillzFan Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Won't it be sweeter when we beat them with Brady playing? It's gonna be great. And when that day comes, I'll especially look forward to watching one of our linebackers break through the Pats* OL and pull Brady's walker out right out from under him.
tbonestake Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 (edited) Won't it be sweeter when we beat them with Brady playing? They have a built-in excuse now when we beat them. 'Brady was feeling the residual effects from a car accident a few weeks ago as he tossed 7 INTs to the Buffalo Bills including a shovel pass into the arms of a waiting Marcus Stroud' Edited September 9, 2010 by tbonestake
The Tomcat Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 (edited) jaws of life were used.... edit...on the other vehicle http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/09/09/weei-report-tom-brady-involved-in-car-accident/ WEEI report: Tom Brady involved in car accident Posted by Mike Florio on September 9, 2010 8:22 AM ET Two years ago, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's season was derailed during the first quarter of the first game. Today, Brady may have avoided one or more injuries that could have kept him from playing at all in 2010. WEEI radio in Boston reports that Brady was involved in an automobile accident in Boston on Thursday. Brady reportedly was "shaken," and the jaws of life reportedly were used to free the driver of another vehicle. Another source told WEEI that Brady went to a local hospital, but WEEI is now reporting that Brady did not go to the hospital. WEEI also reports that Brady has contacted the Patriots and will be heading to the team's facility. Per WEEI, Brady's Audi apparently struck a Ford minivan. Though the Audi reportedly had significant front-end damage, Brady reportedly was out of the car and walking around after the accident. Edited September 9, 2010 by The Tomcat

But you're forgetting how close we came last yr...I know, I know...horseshoes & hand grenades.
stony Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Won't it be sweeter when we beat them with Brady playing? That's what I'm thinking, plus, it's not like we beat them when he wasn't.
Not the real Gale Gilbert Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 His bangs probably fell into place right in front of his eyes. Maybe now he'll get a haircut.

Maybe he was in a Tiger-Elin domestic while driving and rear ended the mini-van. Curious to see how this gets buried in the media if he is at fault.
KD in CA Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Glad to hear he's alright. Benjamin Barker won't be happy to hear that.

Curious to see how this gets buried in the media if he is at fault. According to the latest report in the Boston Globe, witnesses say that the other driver in the minivan ran a red light. http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2010/09/patriots_qb_in.html

Guest dog14787 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Benjamin Barker was driving the minivan. I replied on the injury thread right before I noticed this thread and when I read the headliner I thought OMG you've got to be kidding me. I was very relieved to hear Tom Brady was OK,
